The Strategic Factors Shaping Competitiveness for Maritime Clusters: An OverviewPeter J Stavroulakis
Objective: Industrial clusters have been an enduring object of study from Alfred Marshall’s ‘localized industries’ to the point that scholars are still analyzing the framework and dynamics of agglomeration economies and their underlying factors. Industrial clusters are considered as a pillar of competitiveness, innovation and sustainability for today's economies, for they may hold viable competitive advantages for industries and nations. Maritime clusters in particular provide a very attractive analytical base within a strategic management perspective, for many strategic aspects such as innovation, knowledge creation and diffusion, network economies etc. have been found to bloom within said divide of industrial clusters. We venture to extract the strategic factors that instigate the mechanisms triggering these effects. The objective of this work is to provide a topology of factors concerning maritime clusters, their critical linkages with factors concerning other industrial clusters and their differentiation from said generic clusters, referencing the factors that render them unique and add to their exclusivity.
LOGISTICS 4.0, INNOVATION & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY EVALUATION: THE MODERATING ...Mohammad Amr
The purpose of this paper is to study and analyse the changes in logistics technologies concerning Industry 4.0. The paper discusses the effect logistics 4.0 innovations have on Intellectual Property (IP) management. Logistics 4.0 has marked a new era and introduced a novel concept to both industry and service communities. New entrepreneurial ideas based on different technologies are introduced which enables the digital transformation of logistics. This transformation also impacts innovation and various IP processes and its management. The approach used in this paper is exploratory in nature. The case study methodology is followed. This paper will discuss various examples of digital applications. Then a case will be selected for the analysis and categorization of innovation and IP. The categorization will take place based on different logistics 4.0 definitions as well as with concepts related to the types of innovation provided by the Oslo Manual and the IP management implications that are generated. This study has a limitation concerning the empirical part. More empirical research and studies should be conducted concerning logistics 4.0, innovation and IP management context. The findings of the case study will act as a guiding path for the upcoming studies, senior officials, policymakers, managers, and business leaders. The paper provides a holistic background of logistics and the revolution of Logistic 4.0. It also discusses the impact it has on innovation and IP management. The results show some important elements that have to be considered in the digital transformation of logistics 4.0. The paper can be used as a base for future research in specific issues related to Innovation and IP management concerning Logistic 4.0.

how to swap pi coins to foreign currency withdrawable.DOT TECH
As of my last update, Pi is still in the testing phase and is not tradable on any exchanges.
However, Pi Network has announced plans to launch its Testnet and Mainnet in the future, which may include listing Pi on exchanges.
The current method for selling pi coins involves exchanging them with a pi vendor who purchases pi coins for investment reasons.
If you want to sell your pi coins, reach out to a pi vendor and sell them to anyone looking to sell pi coins from any country around the globe.
Below is the what'sapp information for my personal pi vendor.

5 Tips for Creating Standard Financial ReportsEasyReports
Well-crafted financial reports serve as vital tools for decision-making and transparency within an organization. By following the undermentioned tips, you can create standardized financial reports that effectively communicate your company's financial health and performance to stakeholders.
What website can I sell pi coins securely.DOT TECH
Currently there are no website or exchange that allow buying or selling of pi coins..
But you can still easily sell pi coins, by reselling it to exchanges/crypto whales interested in holding thousands of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners and pi merchants stands in between the miners and the exchanges.
How can I sell my pi coins?
Selling pi coins is really easy, but first you need to migrate to mainnet wallet before you can do that. I will leave the what'sapp contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.

Is Maritime Ready for the Inevitable Digital Disruption?
13. Defining Clusters and Convergence
Clusters: The most pertinent cluster definition can be regarded as being that of Porter
(1990, 1998, 2000, 2003) and Ketels (2003, 2013) due to their holistic nature and their
reference to ‘geographical location’ and ‘inter-related’ activity as drivers of business
cluster development
Business Clusters: described as a concentration of interconnected businesses present in a
geographic location (Porter, 2000)
Convergence: Daniela (2014) argued that convergence is based on the catch-up effect
which focuses on less developed regions making substantial strides to catch-up with rich
regions – Bottom-up theory of moving towards equality (Delgado et al., 2010)
Clusters do not develop; they emerge over time (Bieńkowsk and Creţu (2016, p.14) –
focusing on the regions competitive advantages and the coming together of triple-helix
actors (Etzkowitz, 2002)
15. Industry 4.0 refers to a new phase in the Industrial Revolution that focuses heavily on
interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data. Industry 4.0, also
sometimes referred to as IIoT or smart manufacturing, marries physical production and
operations with smart digital technology, machine learning, and big data to create a more
holistic and better connected ecosystem for companies (Epicor.com, 2019).
Industry 4.0 Definition
Editor's Notes
A detailed definition of each technology have been given to each company.
Industry 4.0 depends on a number of new and innovative technological developments and is therefore constantly adapted to latest innovation. Nevertheless, the European parliament has defined a proposition for a definition of 4.0 technologies
