This document compares the data quality of nonprobability internet samples to low response rate probability samples. It finds that unweighted, nonprobability samples have substantially more bias than probability samples. Weighted nonprobability samples have significantly but not substantially less bias than unweighted. Probability samples also have less variability in biases. Matching nonprobability samples to probability samples reduces biases but biases are still higher than for probability samples. More work is needed to optimize matching to improve nonprobability sample quality. In conclusion, unweighted nonprobability samples are inferior to low response probability samples but weighting and matching can improve nonprobability sample quality.
Muscular fatigue during short, high-intensity exercise is caused by the depletion of phosphocreatine (PCr) stores and a subsequent fall in ATP levels. PCr decreases rapidly at the start of exercise and more slowly thereafter as glycolysis and the Krebs cycle increase ATP production by rephosphorylating PCr. Fatigue coincides with complete PCr depletion. During prolonged, submaximal exercise, fatigue results from the depletion of muscle and liver glycogen stores. The accumulation of metabolites like hydrogen ions (H+) and lactate may also contribute to fatigue by inhibiting key enzymes in glycolysis and calcium handling within the muscle.
This document discusses challenges facing the public sector, including tight budgets, the need to digitize services, and attracting younger talent. It notes that traditional recruitment methods are too expensive, and new roles require different skills. The future holds increasing demand for digital services, but attracting young people is difficult as the public sector struggles to compete with the private sector. Effective leadership is needed to drive change, promote digitization, and future-proof organizations through senior recruitment.
Arrays allow storing multiple values in consecutive memory locations using a single name. An array contains elements that are accessed using an index. There are different types of arrays including one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and N-dimensional arrays. Arrays can be initialized by assigning values at declaration time. Elements are accessed using the array name and index. Common array operations include searching, sorting, and computing statistics like mean, median and mode.

Discovering Digital Process Twins for What-if Analysis: a Process Mining Appr...Marlon Dumas
This webinar discusses the limitations of traditional approaches for business process simulation based on had-crafted model with restrictive assumptions. It shows how process mining techniques can be assembled together to discover high-fidelity digital twins of end-to-end processes from event data.
