This letter of recommendation is for Taufiki Lee, who I have gotten to know through my role as
a professor at Macomb Community College’s South Campus in Warren, MI. During my time at
Macomb, Taufiki has assisted me with every aspect of WebAssign that I have needed help with
in a very informative and engaging manner. Taufiki is very good a communicator and is able to
make sure that any questions someone asks him are answered efficiently.
In addition to supporting my use of WebAssign, Taufiki has also helped me explore some of the
Open Educational Resources (OER) that are available with WebAssign. The discussion with
Taufiki has been invaluable and my department has just greenlighted a new OER project for Fall
2017 based in part on some of the conversations that I have had with Taufiki.
The level of support that Taufiki provides to his clients is top notch and really showcases his
world-class skills. In all of the conversations with Taufiki, he has never been anything but
helpful and encouraging and always seems to have my students’ best interests in mind when
making recommendations to me. Whether that be ways to organize my course to make it easier
to access or ways to use alternative OER solutions to help save my students money on course
materials, Taufiki has always been there to help me.
