My name is Lisa Mavroudis and I am interested I applying for the teaching position with
your organization. I have worked in the field of education for the last eleven years and have had
a tremendous amount of experience managing the integration of academic curriculum and the
social and emotional growth of the students I have worked with. I have also utilized my skills to
motivate and communicate needs of my students and their families in constructive and positive
ways. I have the ability to guide others to develop to their full potential as well as initiating and
developing programs that benefit others and promote leadership and diversity. Many of the
skills I have utilized in the field of education is similar to aspects need to be successful in
behavioral modification and counseling.
I believe life is about teaching and learning, a collaborative effort that is an on-going
and daily part of life for all of us, and the more we share ideas and strategies, the better off our
futures will be will be. I am motivated and creative when attacking new projects and solving
problems. In my past role as a teacher I have proven to be organized and accomplished at multi-
tasking, as well as a flexible team member willing to work to benefit the greater good of the
organization. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated an exceptional reputation for
flexibility and meeting organizational objectives and demands of an educator.
In the end I was successful and so were my students. I know that I will be able to help
your business succeed as well if given the opportunity. As a teacher I acted as the customer
services liaison between parents and the education of their children, these interactions have
taught me to be diplomatic and fair while being understand of individuals’ needs
and expectations.
