Whenever user leaves the organization, the System Admin will deactivate that user. But there might be many records assigned to that user and all those records has to reassigned to someone in the organization (It might be his manager). To reassign the records System Admin who is going to deactivate the user will have to find all the records assigned to the user being deactivated and reassign all the records to his manager or the intended person one by one.
To achieve the above said scenario in few clicks, we must come up with this application called “ASSIGN ME”. This application has capability to reassign records from 5 major standard objects (Account, Contacts, Case, Lead and Opportunity) when a user is deactivated. Also, after the application is installed, there is an option to select/configure the Objects, record types and status, of which we want to reassign the records to deactivated user’s manager. Once the records are reassigned to manager, an email notification will be sent the manager informing him about the assignment of records. Then the manager has an option to reassign them to other users in the organization or keep them on his name. Technical Description
Below are the technical details of the application on, how it works and details about different configurations we can do.
1. After “ASSIGN ME” Application is installed, there is an option to configure, where we can select the Objects, Record Types and status for which you want the records to be reassigned.
2. Selected objects and corresponding Record Types along with Status for all the selected Objects will be stored in custom settings.
3. ‘Deactivation Date’ field is added to the User object, when the User is deactivated the ‘Deactivation Date’ field will be populated with current date.
4. When the user is deactivated.

Focus A Learning Story
Taking an interest
Finding an interest here – a topic, an
activity a role. Recognising the familiar,
enjoying the unfamiliar, coping with change
Jas is playing outdoors under the tank
where she is picking up flowers one by one
from the lawn. Jas then answers the 1st
educator’s question, ‘Where is the vase?’
by replying, ‘It is inside’. Then she goes
inside the classroom to wash the flowers
and starts counting them simultaneously
while putting the flowers in the vase. She
ends the count at 34 and showed the
awareness that petals are important to call
it a flower and refused to put the leftover
stem in her flower vase. She then along
with the 2nd educator finds a suitable spot
to fit her vase of flowers. Jas, Pam and Nas
then became curious when the 2nd
educator gave the idea of putting the
number 34 in front of the vase. They
understood quickly that they need to use 4
but Jas was unable to figure out what
number needs to be put besides 4. Upon a
small suggestion from the 2nd educator
when she hinted what number starts from
the sound ‘th-e’ and upon revising the
count together Jas discovered that three
starts with ‘th-e’ and three is needed to
complete the number ‘34’ which represents
the number of flowers in the vase.

Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines (Southwest), the once scrappy underdog in the U.S. airline industry, was one of the largest
U.S. airlines and, based on number of passengers, one of the largest in the world. The company, unlike all of its
major competitors, had been consistently profitable for decades and had weathered energy crises, the September
11 terrorist attacks, and the 2008-09 recession. An insight into Southwest’s operating philosophy can be found
in the company’s 2001 annual report:
Southwest was well poised, financially, to withstand the potentially devastating hammer blow of
September 11. Why? Because for several decades our leadership philosophy has been: we manage in
good times so that our Company and our People can be job secure and prosper through bad times.…
Once again, after September 11, our philosophy of managing in good times so as to do well in bad
times proved a marvelous prophylactic for our Employees and our Shareholders.
Now in its 45th year of service, Southwest was facing some major challenges. Legacy carriers in the United
States had become more efficient, and the mega-mergers involving Delta/Northwest, Continental/United, and
American/US Airways were shaking up the industry. Smaller companies like JetBlue, Alaska, and Spirit were
pressuring Southwest’s cost advantage and low-fare focus. Southwest had the highest labor cost per employee
in the U.S. airline industry. With more than 50,000 employees, the company was a long way from the small
scrappy upstart challenging the industry with its innovative strategy.
The U.S. Airline Industry
The U.S. commercial airline industry was permanently altered in October 1978 when President Jimmy Carter
signed the Airline Deregulation Act. Before deregulation, the Civil Aeronautics Board regulated airline route
entry and exit, passenger fares, mergers and acquisitions, and airline rates of return. Typically, two or three carriers
provided service in a given market, although there were routes covered by only one carrier. Cost increases were
passed along to customers, and price competition was almost nonexistent. The airlines operated as if there were
only two market segments: those who could afford to fly, and those who couldn’t.
Deregulation sent airline fares tumbling.

Some victims of domestic violence would fall under the typologies of Von Hentig’s theory of victimology. Direct victims of domestic violence fall prey to their abuser’s physical, emotional, and mental modes of abuse. Indirect victims (i.e., children) who witness domestic violence are also impacted emotionally, physically, and mentally. Once the damage has been done to the victim, the scars affect individuals in many different ways.
The following are psychological types of victims:
The Depressed
. These victims may suffer from a disturbance of the instinct of self-preservation. Without such an instinct, the individual may be easily overwhelmed or surprised by dangers or enemies.
The Acquisitive
. This type of person makes an excellent victim. The excessive desire for gain eclipses intelligence, business experience, and inner impediments.
The Wanton
. Often, a sensual or wanton disposition requires other concurrent factors to become activated. Loneliness, alcohol, and certain critical phases are process-accelerators of this type of victim.
The Lonesome and Heartbroken
. Loneliness causes criminal mental facilities to be weakened. These individuals become easy prey for criminals. The heartbroken victims are dazed by their loss, and therefore become easy targets for a variety of "death rackets" that might, for example, charge a widow an outlandish fee for a picture of her late husband to be included in his biography.
The Tormentor
. This victim becomes a perpetrator. This is the psychotic father who may abuse his wife and children for a number of years until one of the children grows up and, under extreme provocation, kills him.
The Blocked, Exempted, and Fighting
. The blocked victim is so enmeshed in such a losing situation that defensive moves become impossible. This is a self-imposed form of helplessness and an ideal condition for a victim from the point of view of the criminal.
The Activating Sufferer
. This occurs when the victim is transformed into a perpetrator. A number of factors operate as activators on the victim, such as certain predispositions, age, alcohol, and loss of self-confidence.

Children who are victims of sexual abuse pose specific concerns to a professional counselor who is responsible for providing treatment to the child. Consider the following scenario:
Alexis is a 10-year-old female girl who used to exhibit normal and happy emotions. Alexis’ mother, Emily, works a lot of hours and does not have the time to spend with her. Emily has entrusted the help of her younger brother, Anthony, who is an unemployed 25-year-old male, to watch Alexis. Anthony lives with Alexis and Emily. Over a period of about six months, Alexis was exhibiting emotions of sadness, being very quiet, and acting withdrawn, which Emily had witnessed one day while home. Emily asked Alexis if everything was okay, and Alexis quietly replied, "no."
A letter from Alexis’ teacher was sent home to Emily describing the concerns of how Alexis’ grades in class had dropped and how Alexis exhibited "some type of emotional withdrawal." One day, Emily was sorting Alexis’ clothes to wash when she saw blood in Alexis’ undergarments. Emily believed that Alexis had started her menstruation cycle, thus concluding that that was the reason for Alexis’ change of emotions. Upon speaking with Alexis, Emily wanted to explain menstruation to Alexis, but when she spoke with her, Alexis still exhibited little to no emotion, as well as not speaking at all. Emily became very concerned and asked Alexis repeatedly what was the matter. Alexis eventually broke down and said, "Uncle Anthony has been doing things to me and makes me sleep with him in the bed."
Emily was immediately shocked from what Alexis had just said. Emily later confronts Anthony about what Alexis had said, and Anthony denies all that Alexis claimed he had done to her. While Anthony was away from the house one day, Emily went through Anthony’s items in his bedroom and found child pornography videos and magazines, as well as pictures of Alexis in very provocative poses and some nude photographs. While law enforcement was contacted, Emily was also concerned about the emotional scars that Alexis may have because of what took place between her and Anthony, and she begins to seek professional help for Alexis. Suggesting to persons appearing before him to contribute to certain charities in lieu of paying fines

The biggest hurdle you may face in writing a description is remembering what the term means as it is used in this context. We all use the word description loosely to refer to practically any discussion or explanation. But in this context, it means the detailed discussion of the physical aspects of a thing. That means discussing things like color, shape, size, weight, height, width, thickness, texture, density, contents, materials of construction, and so on.
For example, this sentence is not really description in our sense of the word:
A computer diskette is a device used for storing electronic data.
It explains the function or purpose but provides little or no physical detail. However, this sentence is very definitely description:
The common computer diskette is 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches and approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Contexts for Description
As mentioned earlier, descriptions are common element in technical writing—just not quite in the same way that instructions are. Descriptions appear more often as a sentence or two here, a paragraph there, or a whole section elsewhere. Certain kinds of technical writing feature description:
· Accident reports requiring plenty of description.
· Product specifications—documents that describe design and feature of a new or changed product—have plenty of description.
· Instructions often require description to enable readers to visualize what they are doing and what they are working with.
Contents and Organization of Descriptions
The following is a review of the sections you'll commonly find in descriptions. As you read, check out the example descriptions.
Introduction. Plan the introduction to your description carefully. Make sure it does all of the following things (but not necessarily in this order) that apply to your particular description:
· Indicate the specific object about to be described.
· Indicate what the audience needs in terms of knowledge and background to understand the description.
· Provide a general description of the object.
· Include an overview of the contents of the description.
Background. If the thing you are describing is not likely to be familiar to most of your readers, consider adding some background before you plunge into the actual description. If you are about to describe an SGO/3 density gauge to nonspeci.

Some victims of domestic violence would fall under the typologies of Von Hentig’s theory of victimology. Direct victims of domestic violence fall prey to their abuser’s physical, emotional, and mental modes of abuse. Indirect victims (i.e., children) who witness domestic violence are also impacted emotionally, physically, and mentally. Once the damage has been done to the victim, the scars affect individuals in many different ways.
The following are psychological types of victims:
The Depressed
. These victims may suffer from a disturbance of the instinct of self-preservation. Without such an instinct, the individual may be easily overwhelmed or surprised by dangers or enemies.
The Acquisitive
. This type of person makes an excellent victim. The excessive desire for gain eclipses intelligence, business experience, and inner impediments.
The Wanton
. Often, a sensual or wanton disposition requires other concurrent factors to become activated. Loneliness, alcohol, and certain critical phases are process-accelerators of this type of victim.
The Lonesome and Heartbroken
. Loneliness causes criminal mental facilities to be weakened. These individuals become easy prey for criminals. The heartbroken victims are dazed by their loss, and therefore become easy targets for a variety of "death rackets" that might, for example, charge a widow an outlandish fee for a picture of her late husband to be included in his biography.
The Tormentor
. This victim becomes a perpetrator. This is the psychotic father who may abuse his wife and children for a number of years until one of the children grows up and, under extreme provocation, kills him.
The Blocked, Exempted, and Fighting
. The blocked victim is so enmeshed in such a losing situation that defensive moves become impossible. This is a self-imposed form of helplessness and an ideal condition for a victim from the point of view of the criminal.
The Activating Sufferer
. This occurs when the victim is transformed into a perpetrator. A number of factors operate as activators on the victim, such as certain predispositions, age, alcohol, and loss of self-confidence.

Children who are victims of sexual abuse pose specific concerns to a professional counselor who is responsible for providing treatment to the child. Consider the following scenario:
Alexis is a 10-year-old female girl who used to exhibit normal and happy emotions. Alexis’ mother, Emily, works a lot of hours and does not have the time to spend with her. Emily has entrusted the help of her younger brother, Anthony, who is an unemployed 25-year-old male, to watch Alexis. Anthony lives with Alexis and Emily. Over a period of about six months, Alexis was exhibiting emotions of sadness, being very quiet, and acting withdrawn, which Emily had witnessed one day while home. Emily asked Alexis if everything was okay, and Alexis quietly replied, "no."
A letter from Alexis’ teacher was sent home to Emily describing the concerns of how Alexis’ grades in class had dropped and how Alexis exhibited "some type of emotional withdrawal." One day, Emily was sorting Alexis’ clothes to wash when she saw blood in Alexis’ undergarments. Emily believed that Alexis had started her menstruation cycle, thus concluding that that was the reason for Alexis’ change of emotions. Upon speaking with Alexis, Emily wanted to explain menstruation to Alexis, but when she spoke with her, Alexis still exhibited little to no emotion, as well as not speaking at all. Emily became very concerned and asked Alexis repeatedly what was the matter. Alexis eventually broke down and said, "Uncle Anthony has been doing things to me and makes me sleep with him in the bed."
Emily was immediately shocked from what Alexis had just said. Emily later confronts Anthony about what Alexis had said, and Anthony denies all that Alexis claimed he had done to her. While Anthony was away from the house one day, Emily went through Anthony’s items in his bedroom and found child pornography videos and magazines, as well as pictures of Alexis in very provocative poses and some nude photographs. While law enforcement was contacted, Emily was also concerned about the emotional scars that Alexis may have because of what took place between her and Anthony, and she begins to seek professional help for Alexis. The biggest hurdle you may face in writing a description is remembering what the term means as it is used in this context. We all use the word description loosely to refer to practically any discussion or explanation. But in this context, it means the detailed discussion of the physical aspects of a thing. That means discussing things like color, shape, size, weight, height, width, thickness, texture, density, contents, materials of construction, and so on.
For example, this sentence is not really description in our sense of the word:
A computer diskette is a device used for storing electronic data.
It explains the function or purpose but provides little or no physical detail. However, this sentence is very definitely description:
The common computer diskette is 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches and approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Contexts for Description
As mentioned earlier, descriptions are common element in technical writing—just not quite in the same way that instructions are. Descriptions appear more often as a sentence or two here, a paragraph there, or a whole section elsewhere. Certain kinds of technical writing feature description:
· Accident reports requiring plenty of description.
· Product specifications—documents that describe design and feature of a new or changed product—have plenty of description.
· Instructions often require description to enable readers to visualize what they are doing and what they are working with.
Contents and Organization of Descriptions
The following is a review of the sections you'll commonly find in descriptions. As you read, check out the example descriptions.
Introduction. Plan the introduction to your description carefully. Make sure it does all of the following things (but not necessarily in this order) that apply to your particular description:
· Indicate the specific object about to be described.
· Indicate what the audience needs in terms of knowledge and background to understand the description.
· Provide a general description of the object.
· Include an overview of the contents of the description.
Background. If the thing you are describing is not likely to be familiar to most of your readers, consider adding some background before you plunge into the actual description. If you are about to describe an SGO/3 density gauge to nonspeci.

Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing.
