This document describes a random attempt to create a basic cell phone ringtone using the Tromine GT virtual instrument without presets. The creator used the Tromine GT as it was the closest VST instrument to sounding like a traditional drum for the ringtone.

1. This one one was more random than the ohers
in the sense it didn’t try to follow a pattern,
with the aim of trying to create a very basic Cell
phone ring tone.
Using the “Tromine GT” Instrument with no
presets selected, it was the closest VST I could
find that was remotely close to sounding like a
traditional drum.
