A contract of employment is an agreement between an employer and employee that establishes the employment relationship. Most contracts do not need to be in writing but it is better if they are. The contract begins when an offer is accepted and work starts. A mutual agreement between parties can modify the contract terms outside of the existing agreement. Non-disclosure agreements are commonly used when companies or individuals evaluate potential business relationships to restrict sharing of confidential information. Partnership and collaboration terms are often used interchangeably in policy to describe coordinated efforts between organizations.

3. A contract of employment is an agreement
between an employer and employee and is the
basis of the employment relationship.
Most employment contracts do not need to be
in writing to be legally valid, but it is better if
they are.
A contract 'starts' as soon as an offer of
employment is accepted. Starting work proves
that you accept the terms and conditions
offered by the employer.

independent basis for changing the contract.
This means when a party of two companies
come together to sign your contract of
agreement to say you can work for them.

increase, or market conditions change. It also
preserves enforce ability by ensuring that no
license extends beyond the term of the
agreement.

6. NDA (Non-Disclosure agreement)
NDAs are commonly signed when two
companies, individuals, or other entities (such
as partnerships, societies, etc.) are considering
doing business and need to understand the
processes used in each other's business for the
purpose of evaluating the potential business
relationship. NDAs can be "mutual", meaning
both parties are restricted in their use of the
materials provided, or they can restrict the use
of material by a single party.
It is also possible for an employee to sign an
NDA or NDA-like agreement with an employer.
In fact, some employment agreements will
include a clause restricting employees' use and
dissemination of company-owned confidential
information.

7. Collaboration
Partnership and collaboration are often used
inter-changeably, sometimes within the same
paragraph or even sentence. Much use of the
terminology is policy driven, giving way to the
use of terms such as ‘joined-up thinking’ and
‘joined-up working’; for example, Every Child
Matters (DfES 2004: 9) states that progress in
improving educational achievement for
children and young people in care and in
improving their health has been possible
through better joint working.
