1. Task 3 Report and Budget
The job roles for my music video are going to be director, camera person,
actor, and makeup artist. For my music video , my budget is going to be £4000.
Director
The job responsibility for the director which will be me, is to tell the actors what I want
them to do in the different shots in the video, and giving them advice on what to do to
achieve it. Also telling people such as the camera person which will also be me what
different shots to use in the different shots of the video, which angles, and camera
techniques to use to get a good quality music video, and how to also make sure that
everyone involved in making the video is working to their full potential to achieve a high
quality music video, by guiding them through the different elements the video may require
to achieve this.
Camera person
The job responsibilities of the camera person is to listen to the directors ideas and
instructions for how the video should be shot and how these techniques may help them get
better shots to improve the standard of the video. The camera person which will be me for
the majority of the video will be shooting the different shots and instructing the actors were
to be positioned and what to do, before shooting different scenes.
Makeup artist
The job responsibility for the makeup artist is to look at the storyboards and script given to
them by the director so they have an idea of what the actors need to look like in the
different scenes in the video , and what their clothes, hair and because of the low budget
also how the costume is going to be, im going to be the makeup artist for my video and I will
tell the actors what they need to wear for the video.
Actor
The role of the actor in my music video is to portray the character who is appearing in the
video and to bring that character to life with the help of the other actors and the director.
The job responsibility of the actor is to listen to the instructions of the director and portray
the character the way the director wants them to.
