for an independent record company is that they are able to make a profit from all 3 factors

record company will not get much of a budget to make the songs to start of with until the band
or artist gets popular .
5. A conglomerate is when two or more company's from different business combine to make

that it can stop a business from going bust as well as branching out the company into different
industry's which will expand their income . A disadvantage is that it may increase the cost for
the business since it will have more funds to manage . Also it may cause the company to give
themselves too much to handle because it will up scale the business . An example of

a larger production line since there will be more people in the company to speed up the
production . Some disadvantages of this is that it can give a group of people too much
responsibility which can lead to company being disorganized .Also if there is no strategy behind
the horizontal integration then the company will only lose money from the integration .
