Stormwater Assessment: Two Types
1. Servjce Assessment: to plan, operate and
the City's stormwater system
2. Assessment: to fund all or any
portion of the cost or debt service and related
costs to finance stormwater improvements

Current Program
• UtiHty first created in 2003
• City wide assessment
• Only assessment rate increase in 2005
• Requires annual adoption of property roll
• CoUection by Tax CoUector for private property
• Direct biU collection of stormwater fees imposed on
governmental property
