Personal Qualities:
● Diligence - listening carefully, concentrating on tasks, managing my time. I am used to working towards
deadlines, managing responsibilities, asking thoughtful questions and following things through.
● Humility - eager to learn, happy to change, willing to improve. I acknowledge that I can always improve
how I do things and learn more about what’s happening around me. I acknowledge that everyone on the
team - from the bottom of the business to the very top - has an equally important role, deserving
recognition, support and gratitude. Also, I accept my mistakes and learn from them.
● Versatility - on site or in the office, design or administration, I’m happy to enter whichever area of the
project needs me most. I learn to use the systems that are in place, keep track of my performance and
seek to balance all my different duties. I have experience working in a civil engineering consultancy, a
construction company and a recruitment agency, with involvement in engineering design, report
preparation, geotechnical investigations, construction management and administration.
● Communication - I recognise that timely, concise and complete communication is essential to a
successful business. I also enjoy building a rapport with people. Therefore, whether to discuss work in
progress, plan ahead or just ask how the day has been, I regularly engage my colleagues in conversation.
● Enthusiasm - I arrive at work with a smile and eagerly anticipate the day’s work. I am motivated to be a
good team player, build friendships with my colleagues, achieve excellent results and grow as a person.
I’m also keen on social events with my team and community activities.
