*Fundamentals of Manufacturing Processes on edX: https://www.edx.org/course/fundamentals-manufacturing-processes-mitx-2-008x
Talk to inspire creating surprising new user experiences (like the examples in the talk) that use powerful new technologies (like AI, AR, VR, IoT, brainwave-control, depth-sensing, eye-tracking, etc.) through mostly free SDKs and software (to which the presentation provides some links).
The presentation shows examples of experiences that are literally 'wonder'-ful, and fulfill a real need at the same time (they're not just games), like a school bus to Mars, AI robot for the elderly, and apps that teach our thoughts.
It bundles information that is freely available on the Internet, and mostly not my own work.
SlideShare doesn't run embedded videos, but they run if you downloaded this PDF.

My Minecraft-Smart-Home: Prototyping the Internet of Uncanny ThingsSascha Wolter
Software and everyday objects are becoming increasingly “smarter”, take over more “responsibility” and know more and more about us. But what does that mean for developers and what impact does this have on the user? How do we convey the understanding and competence? Sascha covers IoT challenges and inspires with creepy examples. He also introduces a prototypic approach for hardware and software ideation based on visual programming and games like Minecraft. Of course, it is shown that this pragmatic approach is also suitable for professional projects using IoT platforms and smart home solutions.

Is this possible? Artificial Intelligence Based Test Automation but with no AI? Well, according to Jeremias Roessler, it is! Find out how in this quarterly webinar slidedeck with XBOSoft's special guest speaker, Jeremy Rößler. What good are 400 additional AI-generated UI tests, if we don’t want to maintain our existing human-created ones? This question lies at the heart of AI-based test generation. Recheck-web addresses this issue elegantly and without any “AI-magic” … using a whole different approach to test automation. This refreshingly unusual approach to test automation (difference testing) has many advantages over conventional test automation and he shows how to overcome the oracle problem. This approach makes tests easy to create and maintain, robust and more complete. You can use this approach today in your existing UI testing setup for websites (currently available for Selenium/Java, more to come).
Face recognition has countless applications in a lot of different fields from security to marketing. But it usually requires expensive hardware or proprietary software applications. In this session we’re going to describe an open software platform based on Raspberry Pi and OpenCV that covers a subset of this functionality: faces counter. It would be useful when control access to closed spaces such as rooms with a limited capacity is needed. Solution combines cameras, Raspberry Pis, OpenCV, MQTT, embedded Java, and Java SE to cover business needs, privacy constraints, scale out needs, … and much more.
Trebco Tablet Google YouTube Counter Numbers are off and different every day. I have seen incorrect counter numbers (different counts) for the same video referenced with all of our Trebco Tablet videos. We can't depend on Google count numbers. We are going to sue ! Correct my data or do not list any counter numbers for any video.

83. TREBCO COMPUTER SYSTEMS
Practical Solutions for Decision Makersä
I would first like to give thanks, praise and honor to almighty God and for his grace and tender mercy as manifested through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for the
many blessings bestowed upon me and my family and friends. I am also thankful for the knowledge, wisdom, understanding, love and strength given to me by God through
Christ Jesus to undertake such a monumental set of tasks. I by myself would never have been able to complete this work. I would also like to thank all of the people (too
numerous to mention) for your love, strength, prayers, and encouragement for only you could know how hard and long that I worked on this project and how difficult it was to
raise the funding, equipment and knowledge necessary to self publish these works.
INTRO. TO THE ANALYSIS SYSTEM:
The vision of Trebco Computer Systems has been clear for a long time. The company has been blessed to overcome the initial hurdles of the lack of
investment capital, and of no one supporting the original concept as it was first presented as part of a graduate school research project for graduation. The
initial resistance eventually disappeared when it became evident that a strong viable suite of products materialized not as a dream but as a tangible product
that has significant potential.
The Mission of Trebco Computer Systems is to provide an excellent suite of products made with the highest level of quality, reliability, and ease of use
that is available with reduced product development costs, and process throughput time to its marketplace. The secondary goal is to provide employment
for any individual who desires to work hard to support their families in a Judeo-Christian lifestyle.
We feel that our technology is at least (10-15 years) ahead of current technology because we have had this technology for at least (7 years) before we
revealed it to the marketplace. We are small enough to be able to respond to the demands of our potential customers and clients with very little turn-around
time because of our streamlined business practices.
Trebco Computer Systems is committed to excellence. We will not pursue business relationships with individuals, or individual businesses that we deem
not to represent similar Judeo-Christian values. This is the fundamental principle in which we wish to participate in our business relationships.
This software is God inspired, and as a result, we believe that it is our responsibility as followers of
Jesus Christ that we help others in a supporting way that reflects good Judeo-Christian values (at all times). We are committed in sharing those Judeo-
Christian values associated with helping in the communities that we live in and conduct business in. There is no calling greater than to do God’s work. We
will commit first to doing God’s will and his work in everything that we do.
The chief benefit of our software is that it fills an unfulfilled place in the low to medium priced software analysis market. The Trebco Computer System
Analysis Software is known for its ability to generate accurate, precise, solutions to complex problems in a matter of seconds without the need to program.
The underlying need for the product itself is hard to see initially. It is not at all apparent how time consuming making calculations are until one has to
make a lot of them on a frequent basis. The key to filling the need in the marketplace is based on the fact that if someone is using the analysis software that
we have created, they will be more productive because the software has most of the calculations & formulas that an engineer, scientist, or student would
normally need to do their job standard in the software package. You don’t have to spend a lot of time running around looking for reference books (if one
exists for what you are looking for).
THE ORIGIN OF TREBCO COMPUTER SYSTEMS:
The origin of the Trebco Computer Systems line of products started back in college at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, Illinois in 1981.
As a mechanical engineering student, the founder of the analysis system noticed that as he worked out homework problems, a pattern became apparent to
him.
This pattern was that the way that he was solving his homework problems served as a good study guide for anyone looking at his homework solutions. He
was faced with solving problems by mainframe computer using numerical methods. This indeed was quite intriguing, but unfortunately, personal
computers with compilers did not exist in the 1980’s. As a result the development of the Analysis System would have to wait be created.
Little did the founder know that he would eventually use his unique homework solution methods as the foundation for the Trebco Computer Systems
Analysis System. It was not readily apparent at first that programming software would be the way to complete the vision.
As a result, the many computer programs and homework problems sat without much progress. In 1991, after developing software for Navistar
International (2) locations, & Eaton Corporation, it was decided that it was time to attempt to produce our own software.
The path was rocky at first. Also, there were no handbooks. The software development went well but the newly found venture was ill-prepared to launch a
business during a full fledge recession. There was a recession, and no one wanted to venture out with any thing new.
One day at 6:02 AM (on 7/21/92) God came to me and told me that he wanted for me to write some software. Initially the founder did not want to get up,
but He did so obediently. He walked over to the computer, began programming algorithms, and started writing some of the most complex programs ever
off the top of his head.
This story has been told many times, but this is how the software was developed. The talents that God has given the founder still exists to this day
as many program enhancements are made each day.
93. Character Reference For Professor Raymond Buck) (Pg #2)
Please know that you can not take this to the next step without
surrounding yourself with good people.
You need a driver, a body guard, a nutritionist a series of doctors, a
few good lawyers, an up to speed accounting team, banking and
investment advisor.
in the future when you buy that bank branch and donate it to a
neighborhood soup kitchen!
I know that you have a wonderful and competent handle on your product.
You need to trust others and compensate them (or the promise of future
compensation) in order to take this to the next level soon.
When you come face to face with your own mortality as you unfortunately
did with your brother, it is an earth shaking event. Even more of a
tragic event would be for something to happen to you before you and
your family were able to see this through.
Somewhere I saw a small sign: "Living Well Is Your Best Revenge"
I know that you have been wronged in the past by people especially
grossly insulting bankers.
But, you must understand that you will enjoy " sticking it to the man"
in the future when you buy that bank branch and donate it to a
neighborhood soup kitchen!
Taking a large lump sum now for say 10% would give you the options of
staying involved, in control and having enough extra to make a
difference.
Selling services to a foreign country and giving services to your
targeted countrymen might be sweet.
Gotta go to a meeting.
Some thoughts.
I'd be honored to meet with you again. Maybe in Chicago.
Be well, and share the stress. Keeping it all to yourself .........no
good.
Your new friend,
Patrick
94. Top Major Influencer In My Life
(Professor Raymond Buck's Mentors)
My Mom:
J Buck, (deceased), was a very kind, loving person. She was a Christian, made sure I went to
church every Sunday (she went with me along with my family). My Mom taught me how to read,
how to say my prayers every night (she prayed with me one her knees, taught me the Lord's
Prayer) and I still know it. My Mom sat with me and the other kids in my family as I has to do
my homework every night (we studied from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM every night, with no TV, no
radio, no exceptions!!).
Her discipline (administered by my Dad's law about school, study, and grades, (the minimum
grade in school was a “B” or punishment happened). A “B” in school did not mean “B average”,
it meant a “minimum B” in every grade. I did not get a “B” in every grade, thus, sometime I was
on punishment and force to study more hour until the next grade marking period.
My Dad:
N Buck, (deceased) was a very interesting man. He was a World War II Veteran (served in
German & Other Operations) he only talked about war on two occasions and me was not happy
to talk about how friends or others died and he lived.
Dad, taught me every thing (my knowledge, my intuition, my gut feel, how to read people,
coached me continually about “getting me ready for the real world). When Dad did not have the
answers, he know the resources to find out what was needed. Dad was an “instant resource”
before there was a “Google”.
My Dad could pick up the phone and get things done. I watched him get family members jobs, or
find out who could fix your car, or who to talk to for.... My Dad is the one who met Mr. Andrew
S. “Ace” Miller a famous CPA. Mr. Miller want for me to be a CPA or the least (minimum, an
MBA, he said that would be “acceptable” for me).
Mr. Andrew S. “Ace” Miller, was my Business Mentor. I worked for him for (10 years) from 12
years old until I was (22 years old) or until I finished engineering school at the Illinois Institute of
Technology (IIT). Mr. Miller told me the spending time studying engineering was “foolishness”
He did not want me to be an engineer (I didn't want to either, and still don't now). I through a lot
of mentor on the engineering jobs, taught me my engineering “trade”. I folded blueprints,
prepared specifications (I did the work, but, they got the credit).
I eventually became so good with my “engineering gut feel” I was rarely wrong. I finally realized
that it was God who was giving me that uncanny “gut feel”. The more that Prayed to God, the
better I got, the more accurate I became.
“I am the best engineer in history” because I trust in God. Look at my resume. I shows results.
