Representation office in New Delhi/Gurgaon for
Southern Asia
Swiss International aims to grow to 20 hotels in India by 2020.
Baar (CH)/ Ras Al Khaimah (UAE)/ New Delhi (India), November 4, 2015 - Swiss International
announced the opening of a new office for Development and Representation in Gurgaon for
Southern Asia, with an emphasis on India, given the fact that Make-In-India and Digital-India
initiative as announced by Government of India is going to give great impetus to hospitality
sector. This came to form, as a result of an agreement between "Swiss International" and
"Innovest Ventures" of India. The agreement is part of the companies' shared strategy to build a
solid presence in the Indian hospitality market. The objective of the cooperation is to open 20
hotels under Swiss International brands within the next 5 years enabling investment to the tune
of USD 200 Mn.
