Swimming Drills
Technique Drills Thumb to Thigh High Elbow Finger Tip Drag Touch and Go Catch up drill Use fins not a pull buoy. Focus on each one separately, then put them together.
Optimizing Drills Closed Fist Drill Focus on catching water with forearms. One-arm Drill Only do 25yds/m at a time
Other Drills Kicking is a drill Sighting drill Do especially if you plan to swim open water. Anything you need work on can be a drill
Other Drills Swim Golf Add total number of strokes per 50yds/m + time in seconds. Like golf, the lower the number the better. Play with stroke rate vs. body position to find ideal number.
