‘It was an opportunity I enjoyed immensely and my only regret
is that I hadn’t chosen to volunteer from the first year I was at
university! Everyone I worked alongside during my time with the
League of Friends was extremely welcoming and friendly and I have
taken a lot from the experience. Thank you for the opportunity’.

STUDENT QUOTES
One of the main reasons I chose to study for my Masters at University of Portsmouth was
because of the service Purple Door offers. I had completed my undergraduate degree in
London, and looked at other universities, and nothing matched what Portsmouth offers
through Purple Door. The advice I’ve received has been so thorough and detailed and
professional – people would pay to have had the help I’ve had from you today in
developing my CV!"
Student No. 840213, Noah Ahiable, MSc Business and Management
"I am extremely grateful for your sage advice and it has helped me gained a much better
understanding of how the job matching system works. You have inspired me so positively
that I now have a totally fresh perspective and optimism in my job search.I do hope to be
able to learn more from you and hope you do not mind me seeking more of your advice in
the near future. "

links but it's been so so helpful already! Thanks again for your help and support - I can
already tell it's going to be invaluable! I'll be in touch soon, I'm sure!"
