Tasked in to analyze the entire Logistics of the supply chain model, to effectively reduce cost while
improving lead times and satisfying customer demands.
o Oversight of the entire domestic and international supply chain. Tasked to improve lead and delivery
times to dramatically affect and enhance the overall entire customer experience.
o Streamlined and re-negotiated freight contracts for Air, Ocean, LTL & FTL, with an estimated yearly
savings of nearly $1 million, annually.
o Effectively built Domestic transportation network utilizing class forward FAK contract negotiations.
o Based on new trade and tariff acts, moved production to countries under the generalized system of
preference for cost savings on duty free status.
o Streamlined and re-organized procedures for two critical distribution centers.
o Developed Standard Operating Procedures and training manuals, so that all logistics staff had
immediate access to current and accurate information and step-by-step diagrams to facilitate faster
responses for internal customers.
o Opened lines of communications with sales department which never existed before, resulting in RFQ’s

Amerijet International Miami, FL (Senior Import/Interline Manager) Feb 2005 to Dec 2011
Directed all facets of Operations and compliance for the Miami HUB of this Cargo Carrier.
o Oversight of entire Miami cargo hub for Imports and Interline freight movements in a 24/7 environment.
o Reduced customs fines and penalties from over $1 Million dollars in 2004 to a mitigated sum of $14,000 in
2007. This was accomplished through my development of a training program and improved Standard
Operating Procedures and checklists.
o Improvement on both staff morale and the entire customer experience, going from one of the worst
customer experiences in Miami airport to one of the leaders in movement of freight to the customers
hands. (Reducing customers wait times by over 2 hours, and call Queues by 45 minutes.
o Held open meetings with various customers to listen to their needs and complaints
o Held quarterly “Town Hall” meetings to go over future improvements, employee concerns, as well as
listening to employee’s views on better shaping the customer experience.
o Oversight of 90,000 square foot Customs bonded facility to include staffing, planning and workload
forecasting.
o Routing of Air shipments through out Latin & Central America, as well as the Caribbean via our Interline
partner agreements.
o Warehousing and record keeping of entire facility to US Customs and Border protection standards.
o Integrated new product lines, such as “Door to Door” movements that incorporated Customs
brokerage and white glove delivery service to the door.
o Reduced claims and pilferage by almost 80% by creating and instituting step-by-step procedures for
short, loss or pilfered items.
o Main Liaison with customs & Border protection, while maintain standards for on time AMS transmissions,
as well as compliance with USDA, Fish & Wild Life services and other assorted governmental agencies.

Directly responsible for all movements of both International and domestic forwarding to include warehousing,
