This document discusses Time Banking, a program that allows members to earn "time dollars" by providing services to other members that can then be spent to receive services from other members. It encourages members to build a personal network to facilitate exchanges. It highlights a member, Ron, who helps neighbors with home repairs and improvements. It also announces upcoming Time Banking events partnering with Teens to support fundraisers at Columbia International Day and the Howard County Fair.

“Aloha is the unconditional desire to promote the true good of other people in a friendly spirit out of a sense of kinship.”
- The Most Reverend Abraham Akaka
“In Hawaii, we greet friends, loved ones or strangers with Aloha, which means love. Aloha is the key word to the universal spirit of real hospitality, which makes Hawaii renowned as the world’s center of understanding and fellowship. Try meeting or leaving people with Aloha. You'll be surprised by their reaction. I believe it and it is my creed. Aloha to you.”
- Duke Kahanamoku
Aloha embraces the heart, mind, body and soul.
“The most confused we ever get is when we're trying to convince our heads of something our heart knows is a lie.”
― Karen Marie Moning
“The true value of somebody in this town is very hard to determine. It’s all smoke and mirrors.”
– Mark Ruffalo
“Liberty may be endangered by the abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power.” – James Madison
"I believe the root of all evil is abuse of power.” – Patricia Cornwell
“Choose a leader who will invest in building bridges, not walls. Books, not weapons. Morality, not corruption. Intellectualism and wisdom, not ignorance. Stability, not fear and terror. Peace, not chaos. Love, not hate. Convergence, not segregation. Tolerance, not discrimination. Fairness, not hypocrisy. Substance, not superficiality. Character, not immaturity. Transparency, not secrecy. Justice, not lawlessness. Environmental improvement and preservation, not destruction. Truth, not lies.” – Suzy Kassem

After The Gift: How To Build A Satisfied, Loyal Donor Base4Good.org
Everything you do after someone makes their first donation will determine if they will give that all-important second gift. 50-80% never do. And this is costing you money. Why? Because it’s much more expensive to find a new donor than it is for you to keep a current donor. This webinar will explain the reasons donors often stop giving to your organization and what you can do to change that.
