Sugar gliders are small, nocturnal mammals found in Australia and Southeast Asia. They have silvery grey fur with a dark stripe on their back and weigh 100-160 grams. Their most distinctive feature is the patagium, a membrane that stretches from their wrists to ankles allowing them to glide through the air. During the day, sugar gliders sleep in nests made of leaves in tree hollows, and at night they become active, feeding on insects, nectar, fruits, and biscuits.
