The document presents a study on improving the color rendering index (CRI) and color quality scale (CQS) of white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) using a dual-layer remote phosphor geometry with a red-emitting LaAso4:Eu3+ phosphor layer placed on a yellow phosphor layer (YAG:Ce3+). Results indicate that increasing the concentration of LaAso4:Eu3+ enhances the CRI and CQS, although excessive concentration can reduce luminous flux. This research contributes to advancements in WLED technology by addressing challenges related to color quality and efficiency in high-color-temperature applications.
