The presentation is all about the importance of Foreign or abroad education. It gives brief knowledge about the opportunities, pros and cons of the Abroad study approach. Unbiased explanation of the concept is given.
4. WHY?
• Before starting anything, you or anyone living in this world must know the PURPOSE. The
Big Q “WHY?” Why are you alive? Why does Earth rotate? Why Sun never fails to shine?
Why are people so rude?
• To learn things, to have new opportunities & to explore the beauty of the world, we must
be very much clear with “WHY?”.
5. WHY STUDY ABROAD?
• Well, I am not an expert writer but I believe in simple
and blunt speech. I will focus on only facts and
nothing more.
Reasons:
1.) Explore the world. Start thinking out of box.
2.) Be an extrovert. It is high time that our parents will
take care of our bills and loans and shit.
6. WHY STUDY ABROAD?
3.) Explore diversified culture and henceforth new
people.
4.) Learn about ourselves.
5.) Enhance the value of our degree.
6.) Gain our need and want with earning
7. WHEN?
• The very next Q when you’re firm with your decision is
“WHEN”?
Well, to be honest, there is no defined time for “WHEN” should
we start.
It depends upon how capable we’re, financially & mentally. We
can go whenever we want to.
The best time is never defined. We have to keep in touch with
something which we desperately want to grab. It is an
opportunity, irrevocable opportunity. We must not loose it.
8. HOW?
• Well well well, If we are clear until here. It means we already
are firm in our decision. If yes? CLICK HERE !!. We are eligible
for reading and understanding further slides. Else it is
meaningless.
• So we must make sure we are thorough with everything,
EVERYTHING!
9. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
• I have researched enough and these are some of the
keen points we must understand before making any
decisions:
1.) Experience Personal Growth.
10. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
2.) Gain Valuable Life skills. ( Convert from introvert ->
EXTROVERT)
3.) Broaden our worldview
11. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
4.) Advance your career
We will stand out from other job candidates with the skills that can only be gained through
international experience, such as strong cross-cultural communications and familiarity with
international standards, laws, and regulations. Additionally, if we study in a country with an
emerging economy, we will be able to respond quickly to an evolving market or industry.
5.) Quality Education:
• Another reason we might consider studying abroad is for the chance to
experience different styles of education. By enrolling in a study abroad program, we’ll
have the chance to see a side of our major that we may not have been exposed to at
home.
• We’ll find that completely immersing our self in the education system of our host country
is a great way to really experience and understand the people, its traditions, and its
culture. Education is the centerpiece of any study abroad trip—it is, after all, a study
abroad program—and choosing the right school is a very important factor.
12. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
6.) Career Opportunities:
• When we finish our study abroad program and return home, we
will return with a new perspective on culture, language skills, a
great education, and a willingness to learn. Needless to say, all
of these are very attractive to future employers.
• Many students find that they love their host country so much
that they decide to seek work there. If we can relate, we will find
that a local education will be very valuable when searching for a
potential job in that country.
13. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
7.) Finding New Interests:
If we are still questioning why to study abroad, we should know
that studying in a different country offers many new activities
interests that we may never have discovered if we’d stayed at
home. We might find that you have an as-yet undiscovered
for hiking, water sports, snow skiing, golf, or various other new
sports we may never have tried back home.
• We’ll also have the chance to discover other new and exciting
forms of entertainment. Plays, movies, dancing, and concerts
just a few activities that we can enjoy.
14. PROS ( ADVANTAGES)
8.) Make Lifelong friends
9.) Gain Independence & Self-Reliance
10.) Increase your international job prospects
• While we can always go home at the end of our time as an international student, many
choose to stay put and apply for a working visa. Even if we return home or decide to
work elsewhere, the international experience provided by studying abroad is likely to be
looked on favorably by employers.
15. CONS (DISADVANTAGES)
• Well, we shall always consider both +ve and –ve sides of the
matter always. Everything in this world has both +ve and –ve
things.
I have listed a few of them which I personally feel are drawbacks
of studying abroad:
1.) Homesickness
16. CONS (DISADVANTAGES)
3.) Difficulty in communicating with NEW people. (
Introvertness)
4.) Racism ( very less expected in CANADA)
5.) Earning & Spending carefully. (This shall be our duty
actually)
6.) EMOTIONS!!!!
17. EMOTIONS:
• It is very much difficult to start our own life in absence of
parents or our guardians. We are always in their shadows when
in India. But as we start living, earning and fighting alone with
the world, it is surely challenging thing.
• DAD & MOM always expect and wish the best for us. They never
want us to get diverted and affected by the outer world. It is
always tough to get over it. Leaving them for years and then
starting our own world. It really needs guts.
• My personal advice would be to go in a country where PR is
easy to get. ( example CANADA) It is beneficial for us and family
too!
19. CAREER VS EMOTIONS !!
• It is always difficult when we have to choose between career
path and emotions. To be very honest and unbiased, we shall
choose CAREER. Why? Go back to slides where we talked
about PROS & CONS and decide.
• We are here to create space. Work, analyze & explore. We
have responsibilities to work for. For our family & our own
selves.
• Emotional Intelligence plays a important part here. It is always
hard to decide or choose. But, if I am asked, I would choose
what is best for me and for family all together.
20. WHY NOT IN INDIA?
• One of the most challenging and tough Q I have faced is WHY
NOT IN INIDA THEN?
Well, SKY IS THE LIMIT. I would never say that INDIA doesn’t
have amazing skill holders and talented beasts. Here I am not
to praise one country over another. The aim of the ppt is to
give the readers and visitors the best view about the system.
The knowledge gained varies from place to another.
Afterwards, It all depends upon how we function and work.
21. HOW ?
• If we are through and firm and ready with everything then it comes
“HOW” shall we proceed. Well, there are many sources. Depends
upon our areas of interest.
• There are various colleges and specific course oriented Universities. It
all depends on how we want to start.
• I will mention certain website which we can follow to get basic info:

22. CONCLUSION
• The purpose of the ppt is to give to clear view
about the “STUDY ABROAD” approach.
• People must learn the difference between MYTH &
REALITY.
• Chances one lost are not obtained back.
• Truth is always harsh and so is the life. It is all
about the proper decisions at proper time. <3
