STORIES
• Story: narrative text designed to interest,
amuse or instruct the reader or hearer.
• Character: any person, animal, or figure
represented in the story.
• Main character(s): the most important
character(s) in the story.
• Settings: the time and place in which the story
occurs.
GROUP WORK
• The groups are composed by four or five students.
• Every group work on a different story.
• The students have to:
Read and colour the pictures.
Speak about the characters and the settings in the
stories.
Complete the story map.
Write their own story based on the original ones.
(only changing the characters).
Tell the new story to the class.
Look the vocabulary words up in the dictionary and
explain them to the class.
