Stereotypes
The first stereotype we concluded was rednecks. A typical redneck in modern
society terms would be an all out country kid. To define that better, it is the ones who
wear camo, cowboy boots, dip, and say bub 24/7.
The second stereotype we concluded was the band nerds. This would be all of
the kids who are in the marching band. They often group together in sections of
instruments yet they are all a family, they love their sweaty uniforms and have their own
concession stands at football fields.
The third stereotype we concluded was jocks. These are all of the athletes. They
often date other jocks, wear team shirts and sweats on a daily, are really stuck up and
they often times get by with a lot.
The fourth stereotype we concluded was the smart nerds. They successfully
receive an A on every assignment, whine if they get anything less than that. They
receive all of the scholarships throughout high school, the teacher’s pets and the ones
who always make a 4.0 gpa.
The fifth stereotype we concluded was the stoners. These are the kids who are
labeled as trouble makers. They often are located in In School Suspension rather than
class, could possibly be the drug dealers, rarely come to school and most of the times
initiate fights.
