STEADICAM STEADIMATE ARM & VEST ADAPTER FOR MOTORIZED GIMBALS
Hauppauge, NY- August 16th
, 2016 – Steadicam, a division of The Tiffen Company, has
released the Steadimate, an arm and vest adapter for motorized stabilizing
systems. The Steadimate adapter attaches to the handlebar of a motorized
gimbal system, such as the DJI™ RONIN™ and Freefly MōVI®
, after which
the operator can attach a Steadicam arm and vest to their gimbal. With the
Steadimate adapter operators will be able to capture exceptionally stable
footage for extended periods of time, without feeling the burden of fatigue
from heavy equipment.

Compatibility:
The Steadimate is compatible with motorized gimbals having handlebars that measure the
following in diameter:
• 25 mm

• 30 mm
The Steadimate comes standard with a post block and balance pin to fit arms with 1/2” posts, but
is designed to accommodate various makes and models of arms. Additional accessories can be
purchased to allow the Steadimate to fit arms with 5/8” and 3/4” posts.
Additionally, the Steadimate System is compatible with the A-15 Steadicam Arm and SOLO
Vest, as well as the A-30 Steadicam Arm and Zephyr Vest.
Please note that the weight capacity for the Steadimate is dependent upon the total combined
weight capacity of the motorized gimbal, arm and vest being used. Please see the charts below,
the first providing weights in kg the second in lbs, for more information.
