10. Introduction to Star 2000 FP
STAR 2000 FP KEYPAD is a
sophisticated, yet easy to operate
electronic Time Attendance System.
The system is designed to be resistant to
“Proxy Punching”.
STAR 2000 FP KEYPAD uses Biometrics
technology (Fingerprint) to verify
employee Identity using his unique
Fingerprint Template stored in the Unit.
The unit can be used as a standalone
system.
The Unit can also be used as an Access
Control Device.
14. The authorized person Dials the Master Code 9997 on the Keypad. The
system will display the message “Touch Token”
The authorized person touches the Master token on the touch token
sensor. The LCD displays the message “ Enter password”

15. He then enters the Registration Password 9999. The LCD will display the
message
“ Register Finger Enter PIN “

16. The authorized employee Dials the employee code whose finger to be
registered. The LCD displays the message “ Place Finger”
The Employee places his left hand Index finger or thumb on the Fingerprint
sensor. The LCD displays the message “ Lift and place”
Now lift the same finger and place it again on the fingerprint sensor till the
LCD display shows the following “Registered with Excellent Quality”.

17. Next, the LCD displays the message “ Place the 2nd
finger”
The Employee places a finger other than the one already registered.
The LCD then displays the message “Lift and place”

18. Now lift the same finger and place it again on the fingerprint sensor till
the display shows Finger Registered.
After successful registration of Employee finger template, the LCD will
display the following message “Do you want to register more ?”

25. As the employee gets the access the OK (green) indicator will glow. There is
also an audio beep to indicate successful verification of the finger template.

26. In case the wrong finger is placed or the employee has not placed the finger
properly, the LCD will display the message “ Access Denied”

placed the wrong finger or not placed the finger properly.

28. In case, the finger is not registered the LCD will display the message

29. The System has an “AUTO” feature by which
the employee can record their attendance by
just placing their finger on the Fingerprint
Sensor. The Unit will automatically identify the
employee and record his attendance.
It can assign upto 50 employees and 100
templates .

Device to control Security Doors and other
security equipment such as CCTV.
