1. A meeting was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from January 31 to February 7, 2016 to discuss health issues. Over 50 representatives from various aimags participated. 2. Statistics showed that from 2011-2015, the average life expectancy in Mongolia increased from 68.1 to 70.3 years, but certain regions still have higher than average rates of illnesses. The mortality rate of children under 5 remains high at 28.1 per 1000 live births. 3. The conference highlighted the need for continued efforts to improve community healthcare, especially for vulnerable groups like children, the elderly, and those in remote locations. Access to medical resources and health education were identified as priorities moving forward.
