• KRPUT is a voluntary association of rectors representing
Polish technical universities
• To become the Conference’s member a university has to
be authorised to confer a doctor’s degree in technical
science at least at one of its faculties

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
WITH FOREIGN RECTORS' CONFERENCES AND ASSOCIATIONS
• The Portuguese Polytechnics Coordinating Council (CCISP) - The statement
of collaboration, by which KRPUT and CCISP agree to promote students and
academic staff exchange, joint research projects and double degree diploma
was signed on 15 October, 2013.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
WITH FOREIGN RECTORS' CONFERENCES AND ASSOCIATIONS
• The Association of Rectors of Technical Univeristies in Ukraine (SWRUTU) –
On 24 April 2014 a collaboration agreement was signed to enhance and
develop science, technology and innovation partnerships between Polish and
Ukrainian technical universities. To conduct joint research projects parties to
the agreement apply for funding from EU Horizon 2020 programme.

NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
WITH ACADEMIC ORGANISATIONS
• The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland A representative
body of Polish universities in the field of higher education and science. The
President of KRPUT is a member of KRASP Presidium.
• The Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities (founded by KRPUT).
Its mission is to enhance the quality of higher education by stating clear
education and degree programs assessment principles.
• The Polish Rectors Foundation (founded by KRASP). It aims to develop an
integrated system of higher education and scientific research that provides
institutions with an opportunity to operate under common rules which
would guarantee their growth and fair competition.

NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
WITH GOVERNMENT SCIENCE AGENCIES
• The National Centre for Research and Development - an implementing
agency of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. It manages and
executes strategic research and development programs and enables young
researchers to expand their business and intellectual property management
skills and to learn how to commercialize research results.
• The National Science Centre - an executive agency of the Minister of Science
and Higher Education set up to fund basic research. One of its priorityies is to
support and develop the scientific careers of pre-doctoral and doctoral
researchers starting their career in research.
• The Central Council of Science and Higher Education - an elected
representative body of science and higher education. It cooperates with the
minister responsible for higher education and other organs of government
and public administration in setting policy in the field of higher education,
science and innovation policy.

NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
WITH NATIONAL SECURITY INSTITUTIONS
• Bilateral agreement with the Ministry of National Defence providing:
* greater involvement of Polish technical universities in the process of
modernization of the Polish Armed Forces
* basis for closer cooperation between universities in order to increase
competitiveness of Polish scientific and research institutions
• Participation in the work of:
* the Scientific Committee of the Polish Defence Holding
* the Expert Group of the Ministry of National Defence
