Proposal of Fiberglass wagon movable roofsFarhan Ali
This document proposes replacing the tarpaal and parachute roofing system on cement wagon with a fiberglass material to reduce costs and improve quality, efficiency, and protection. The existing tarpaal system requires replacement every 20 days and has several disadvantages including a short lifespan, odor and fading issues, increased weight when wet, and fire hazards. In contrast, a fiberglass roof would last over 6 years with proper care, be more cost effective in the long run than other materials, and provide benefits like water resistance, easy installation and removal, and fire resistance. Replacing the roofs with fiberglass is estimated to save the factory approximately Rs. 630000 per year in costs compared to continuing with the tarpaal system.
This document provides a survey to screen for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It begins by defining COPD as a life-threatening lung disease commonly caused by smoking that tends to get progressively worse. It then describes the two main conditions that make up COPD: chronic bronchitis, which involves inflammation of the airways, and emphysema, which damages the tiny air sacs of the lungs. The survey lists symptoms and risk factors to check if present. It collects smoking history and information about exacerbations and other respiratory illnesses. The goal is to provide information to screen for COPD and collect patient data to send to a clinic for evaluation.
This document lists several major awards for children's and young adult literature given by the American Library Association (ALA). It describes the John Newbery Medal as the first children's book award established in 1922, and the Randolph Caldecott Medal awarded for best illustrations since 1937. Several other awards are mentioned, including the Geisel Award for beginning readers, the Wilder Award for lasting contribution to children's literature, and awards honoring authors and books by and about African Americans and Latinos.
