1. The study investigates the synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles using a reverse micelle method with titanium tetrabutoxide as the titanium source. 2. TEM and XRD results showed that pure rutile TiO2 nanoparticles were produced when HCl concentration was above 2.5 M, and the ratio of H2O/Ti was greater than 10. 3. Increasing HCl concentration, H2O/Ti ratio, and reaction time resulted in the formation of smaller TiO2 nanoparticles with rutile phase purity. The reverse micelle method allows precise control of particle size and crystal structure.
