An office is where work involving information processing, storage, and distribution takes place. An office manual provides standardized instructions and policies to guide office work and ensure uniformity. It aids in training and allows employees to understand their roles and responsibilities. The main activities of an office include processing mail, dictation, transcription, typing, printing, filing, record retrieval, and communication between departments. An effective office system aims to streamline work flow, reduce duplication, and make optimal use of resources.
How Twitter Is Studied in the Medical Professions: A Classification of Twitte...Giuseppe Fattori
This work is to the best of our knowledge the first overview study of medical related research based on Twitter and related microblogging. We have used 5 dimensions to categorize published medical related research on Twitter. This classification provides a framework within which researchers studying development and use of Twitter within medical related research, and those undertaking comparative studies of research, relating to Twitter in the area of medicine and beyond, can position and ground their work.

The document compares solar protection simulations for single and double pane windows with awning sunshades. It finds that using a triple pane window and awning sunshade reduces maximum cooling and heating loads compared to other configurations. Specifically, it decreases cooling load by 9W and heating load by 36W. The use of sunshades in summer reduces energy usage by 45-50% for both windows, but in winter their use should be avoided as it decreases energy usage by around 30%.

e-Cigarettes: lessons for Inhalation technologists
Electronic cigarettes (ECs), or e-cigarettes, produce aerosols through heating and vaporizing solutions. They are marketed for recreational use and are not much regulated. They share a common purpose as inhalation products: they produce aerosols intended to be orally inhaled. ECs are much cheaper and more popular than pharmaceutical inhalers. Their efficiency at delivering nicotine satisfies their users, yet, their delivery mechanism is a mystery. A selection of vaping devices available in Hong Kong were tested in vitro with commercial e-liquids and laboratory formulations based on glycerin. Their aerosolisation profiles were studied by laser scattering and were compared to tobacco industry claims. Conclusion: nicotine is more likely to be delivered via the buccal cavity than the lung. The array of flavourings and formulation excipients used is as broad as it is exotic (bubble gum, butterscotch, gourmet cinnamon, pie crust, root beer, propylene glycol and glycerin), it is an unheard of open-access worldwide clinical trial of excipients: exploring and monitoring it is a must.

This document discusses a school mediation program. It explains that the program aims to resolve conflicts effectively without penalties. It is run by teachers and students who received mediation training. The program devotes hours each year to educating new students on mediation techniques. Students first introduce conflicting parties, have them explain their perspectives, and help them find solutions. The program hopes to train more mediators and further develop a mediation culture in the school.
Mobile phones have become ubiquitous in the past two decades, with over 1.3 billion users worldwide. While mobiles were initially only for voice calls, they are now central cultural technologies used for social networking, information, entertainment, and more. Recent studies show that merely having a mobile phone nearby, even when not in use, can negatively impact close interpersonal connections by reducing relationship quality, trust, and empathy. The presence of mobile phones may serve as a distraction from personal interactions and connections. Additionally, mobile phone use in public and social settings can cause "inattention blindness" where users are less aware of their surroundings, potentially disturbing or endangering others. Various health issues are also raised by long-term mobile phone use and
