During World War I, he and his first wife were deported to Russia but returned to Lwów after the war. In the 1930s after Poland regained independence, Makuszyński settled in Warsaw and wrote his most famous children's books, including Silly Billy Goat's Adventures and The Moon-stealing Two. He was a prolific journalist and reviewer whose work appeared in many popular periodicals, making him well known in Warsaw's artistic and social circles.
Sławomir Mrożek is a Polish playwright and novelist born in 1930 in Borzęcin, Poland. He debuted professionally in 1950 and emigrated to France in 1963, traveling throughout Europe. Some of his most famous works include "The Elephant", "Tango", and "Emigrants". His plays are considered part of the Theatre of the Absurd genre and often discuss philosophical and political issues in Polish history and culture. In 2011, a festival was held in his honor at a high school in Poland.
Maria Dąbrowska was a Polish writer born in 1889 and died in 1965. She was an outstanding writer, translator, and publicist who also enjoyed painting watercolors. Dąbrowska is best known for her novel "Nights and Days" which was later adapted into an Oscar-nominated film. Her work focused on modern Polish history, society, psychology, and morality. She kept a journal from 1914 until just before her death in 1965.

Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
