Academic Projects Undertaken:
Main Project 1
Project: Load flow solutions for three phase balanced & unbalanced systems.
Team size: 4
Technology: MATLAB
Description: The main aim of the project was to provide the efficient power distribution through the
10bus 3Phase balanced and unbalanced distribution system, by reducing power losses and voltage drop.
For providing the system in divergence, Newton - Raphson Method is used, and for the convergence,two
network matrices Bus Injection to Branch Current (BIBC) and Branch Current Bus Voltage (BCBV) are
used.
Mutual impedances on lines were taken into account. Radial configuration of distribution was
considered in this work. Mutual impedance data from standard test systems was considered. This was
simplex-method to obtain the solution which was obtained by multiply the two matrices. MATLAB
software was used for implementing the algorithm.
Main Project 2
Project: IC based Inverter.
Team size: 8
Technology: Power Electronics
Description: The main aim of the project was by using less number of components increase the range of
the system and deliver high power with no harmonics. The components which are used in this system are
diodes (IN4042), IGBTs (IRF360), 750mA Battery, Capacitor, Step up and Step down transformer.
Firstly, the 230V A.C. supply was step down to 24V A.C. and then it was converted into 24V D.C. and
this energy was stored in the battery in the form of chemical energy.
The D.C. signal which comes out from the battery was given to capacitor. Here,it was acts like a filter
and reduces the harmonics and gives a pure D.C. signal. The purified D.C. signal was given to IGBT’s,
they convert it into A.C. and this was given to the Step up transformer and stepped up to 230V A.C. For
increasing the range of output supply increase the IGBT’s number and they were connected in parallel
and change the range of Step up Transformer.

 Smart working nature and ability to work under tight schedule.
 Able to work together with other team members.
 Ability to provide technical assistance and resolution.
Achievements:
 Successfully completed NCC ‘C’ certificate and ranked as a Company Quarter Master Sergeant.
 Played a leading role in my hostel life for one year.

 Attended a Project Presentation conducted at Aditya Educational Institutions, Surampalem in
VEDA 2K12.
 Attended a Paper Presentation conducted at Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology in
2K13.
