It is with great pleasure that we invite your organization to consider
sponsorship opportunities at the Council for Professional
Recognition’s Early Educators Leadership Conference, October 1-4,
2015 to promote excellence with a focus on competency.
The Conference will host leading experts showcasing training,
innovative tools and leadership skills designed to assist early
educators, administrators and decision makers in advancing the
field of early childhood education. The Conference will also allow
attendees, presenters and sponsors to network, share ideas and to learn
or reinforce new ideas in the early childhood education industry.
Research shows that investments in quality early care programs have impressive economic
outcomes, both in the short- and long-term. Quality early care programs have been shown to
immediately generate about $2 for every $1 dollar invested, through the sale of local goods
and services, providing an immediate benefit to communities and making early learning an
important economic sector.

The Conference will be held Lansdowne Resort located in Leesburg, Virginia
and 30 minutes from the Nation’s Capital with service from two international
airports. The resort is the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award
and the location provides the perfect mix of high-quality classrooms,
beautiful outdoor venues and unique spaces to host a high-quality four
day Conference. Starting with the kick-off event, and culminating with the
closing general session, sponsors will have numerous opportunities to present,

Conference will delve into important and growing issues around workforce development, early
education, public policy and professional standards.
The Council for Professional Recognition’s 2015 Leadership Conference will bring
together experts from the early care and education industry who support
professional development, teacher preparation and quality rating systems from
across the 50 states and U.S. Territories.
The Conference is designed as a small focused event for 200 – 300 attendees
to convene for three days of team building, workshops and events. Many of
our attendees will be decision makers from state departments of education,
community college and university faculty, child care administrators, school district
administrators, professional development training programs both local and military child
development programs and who influence and make decisions to advance professional
development and preparation of the early care workforce.
The Council for Professional Recognition is a non-profit organization that is a
leader in the early care and education field with more than 40 years as an
established credentialing organization. The Council is the national credentialing
organization of the Child Development Associate™ (CDA) National Credential.
The Council for Professional Recognition’s executive team has numerous years of
experience in for profit and non-profit management, early education, marketing
and business strategy. The diverse team is led by Chief Executive Officer Valora
Washington. Ph.D., who continues to build and strengthen the Council through her
astute business acumen.
With more than 350,000 CDA Credentials awarded to date, the Council provides numerous
opportunities to the early care and education community.

The Council for Professional Recognition’s signature events provides
businesses, corporations and foundations supporting early childhood
education and workforce development with an opportunity to
align their brand and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts
with the Council’s mission of improving the quality of early care
and education through the Council’s professional development
programs. The creative possibilities to engage early childhood
educators, workforce development specialist, education leaders,
administrators, government representatives and business
professionals are available to a select few. It is also an opportunity to
associate with a leader in the industry and to grow with the event.
As the Elite sponsor and host of the Council’s Recognition and Awards Dinner,
your brand will stand out as a leader. This year’s dinner event will honor the
Council’s 30th Anniversary and early childhood education pioneers. This level

workforce development and building strong communities. As the “Elite”

The theme is not set for this event so the sky is the limit (based on budget) and

This is the culminating event and an opportunity for your product or service to

motivate for the important work that lies ahead in the field.

Sponsors have the opportunity to brand their company to as a supporter of
thought leaders in the field of early education. Each Track is designed to build on
the capacity, knowledge and thought leadership skills of attendees.

incurred by sponsor including shipping & handling)

Sponsor has the opportunity to brand its company to Conference attendees as they
relax between education sessions. Each break will take place mid-morning during
each day of the Conference, exact timing varies day-to-day. Breaks will be placed
in multiple locations, which offer even greater exposure. Each break comes with
an assortment of morning snacks and beverages sure to entice participants’
appetites. The Morning Energy Breaks can be bought as a bundle for two days or
individually.

By sponsoring a scholarship(s) your organization will make it possible for
an early education professionals to attend the conference and will provide
support for a high school students studying early childhood education at
a Career or Technical High School to receive training from the Council .
Attendees will submit an application applying for a scholarship. Attendees
will compete for scholarships provided by your organization. The scholarship
is based on need, their progress in the field and their potential as leaders in the
field evidenced by previous continuing education and extra-curricular activities.
The high school student will be selected by the scholarship award recipient.

The Conference will host leading experts showcasing training, innovative tools and leadership skills designed to assist early educators, administrators and decision makers in advancing the field of early childhood education. The Conference will also allow attendees, presenters and sponsors to network, share ideas and to learn or reinforce new ideas in the early childhood education industry. The thrust of the Conference will delve into important and growing issues around workforce development, early education, public policy and professional standards. The Council for Professional Recognition’s 2015 Leadership Conference will bring together experts from the early care and education industry who support professional development, teacher preparation and quality rating systems from across the 50 states and U.S. Territories. The Conference is designed as a small focused event for 200 – 300 attendees to convene for three days of team building, workshops and events. Many of our attendees will be decision makers from state departments of education, community college and university faculty, child care administrators, school district administrators, professional development training programs both local and military child development programs and who influence and make decisions to advance professional development and preparation of the early care workforce. The Council for Professional Recognition is a non-profit organization that is a leader in the early care and education field with more than 40 years as an established credentialing organization. The Council is the national credentialing organization of the Child Development Associate™ (CDA) National Credential. The Council for Professional Recognition’s executive team has numerous years of experience in for profit and non-profit management, early education, marketing and business strategy. Attendees will submit an application applying for a scholarship. Attendees will compete for scholarships provided by your organization. The scholarship is based on need, their progress in the field and their potential as leaders in the field evidenced by previous continuing education and extra-curricular activities.
