developed an exclusive paid content marketing opportunity. A progressive law firm interested in promoting expertise in matters such as
same sex marriage, adoption, cohabitation, prenup, or wills & trusts will be showcased both in the program and in commuter/weekday
promotion across Talk 650 KSTE and the iHeart Radio mobile stream platform. A $7800 investment over a 26 week term includes
extensive marketing consultation, media coaching, and script and segment development, and audio and digital production service is
included as value added support to this structured and specialized campaign. Information: Jeff Fekete – Account Manager – Clear

2. Beyond a “gay niche”
In the spring of 2013, CCM+E Sacramento partnered with real estate entrepreneur and
LGBT marketer/advocate Tyler Edwards to present Sac Pride Live,
The resulting locally produced weekly 2 hour broadcast from California’s Capital debuted
April 27, 2013 on Talk 650 KSTE and the live streaming iHeart Radio ap. Presenting news,
views, and features from an LGBT perspective, the Saturday evening program is promoted in
weekday morning commute during the top rated Armstrong & Getty morning show
where over 60,000 listeners hear a “pride focused” message.
At the core of the project is a mindset that the “gay” segment is not an island but an
opportunity for businesses to think forward. A 2012 ABC/Washington Post poll revealed
7 in 10 Americans report having a friend, family member or acquaintance who is gay or
lesbian. Promoting the ideas of inclusion beyond a limited target “niche” in a welcoming
market like California’s Capitol region simply makes good business sense.
To help local, regional, and national businesses capitalize on Sacramento’s accessible media
market, Edwards personal marketing team works directly with all program sponsors often as
part of diversity driven projects. Advertisers benefit from Edward’s unique managed access to
CCM+E programming, production, and digital development staff and resources.

3. Why SACRAMENTO?…
Main Street to Mainstream
Travel 87 miles northeast from San Francisco and you’ll arrive at the Golden State's seat of
government. Listen closely for echoes of
Pony Express hooves, locomotive whistles, and pioneer pick axes.
These days, more cosmopolitan sounds waft from Sacramento’s gourmet eateries, craft
breweries, cozy wine bars, and trendy boutiques.
Among Sacramento’s a vibrant mix of genteel Victorian edifices and ultramodern lofts, a
midtown enclave dubbed Lavender Heights is the most visible center of Sacramento’s gay
and lesbian community.
Yet, one neighborhood alone can only hint at the true breadth of a regional LGBT presence.
Sacramento is already nationally known as a city with a gay population estimated at
9.8%, sixth highest in the nation.
Annual events include a Pride Parade, Rainbow Festival, and Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
with a wide ranging attendee base.
