Responsibilities
Through out my 9 years of service I have crossed trained in a variety of fields and experiences. I performed
combat duties during my deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan by providing security patrols for local villages
and combat engagements towards the enemy.
I work as a Administrative Clerk for a Head Quarters Operations Office in my unit for 2 and a half years.
My responsibilities were to fill out and complete military documents and make sure they are properly correct
before giving them to the higher command for approval . I answer the telephone and relayed messages to my
superiors and co- workers. I was also responsible for keeping track of all documents that were completed and
not completed then uploading that information onto a computer and return the completed documents to proper
individuals who needed them in a polite and professional manner.
My work results
After documents were received I had a turn around time of 24 hours to 5 business days including sooner
return time.
I was able to fix any deficiencies in the documents at a fast rate which saved the service member and my team
2 to 3 hours of extra work before having the document returned to its mistakes.
I was able to instill confidence in my units service members and keep morale high for them knowing that their
requests were being handled at a fast and accurate pace.
My overall worked effort saved my leadership countless hours of extra work so they could stay focused on
their priorities.
Supply Clerk
It was my responsibility to check merchandise, distribute orders out to other units and restock the merchandise
supply room as well as provide accurate accountability for our supply records on our computer.
My results
I was able to save my units funding thousands of dollars by properly securing and handling distribution as well
as reducing lost or wrongly sent inventory.
I contributed to my Supply teams success to provide our company with its various supply needs within one
to two weeks after requests were placed
I successfully completed the Army Transportation Training Course. I have qualified driving on light and heavy
weight trucks including transportation of troops, equipment and ammunitions of various caliber and explosives.
