  • 1.   1           TEDXNAVESINK  SPEAKERS  &  SCHEDULE     TEDxNavesink:  The  Next  Wave   Friday,  September  20,  8  a.m.  -­‐  5  p.m.   Community  College  Performing  Arts  Center,  Lincroft,  NJ   360  guests  will  join  us  for  24  live  talks  and  100  minutes  of  live  and  pre-­‐recorded  material  from  TEDxCity2.0   taking  place  at  Times  Center  NYC  and  in  major  cities  around  the  world.  Innovators  in  education,  technology,   science  and  sustainability  will  give  the  talks  of  their  lives  during  5-­‐18  minute  presentations  that  focus  on   their  contributions,  thoughts  and  vision  for  the  future  of  the  New  Jersey  Shore.     Our  Transformation   8:45  a.m.  –  10:30  a.m.     Brian  Smiga  –  Welcome  Remarks   Brian  Smiga  grew  up  in  Rumson  in  a  house  that  flooded,  so  now  he  lives  on  a  cliff  where  he  can  admire  the   ocean  at  140  feet  up  with  his  7-­‐year-­‐old  son  and  musician  wife  Mimi  Cross.  After  graduating  from  Rumson-­‐ Fair-­‐Haven  High  School,  Smiga  earned  a  BA  in  religion  and  theater  at  Swarthmore  and  Masters  in  Irish  Lit  at   Trinity  College  Dublin.  Since  then,  he’s  taught  at  Peddie,  Trevor  Day  and  Booz  &  Coearned  SAG  and  Actors   Equity  cards,  started  and  sold  four  software  companies  in  CA  and  NYC,  and  he’s  currently  the  co-­‐founder   and  operating  partner  at  Alpha  Venture  Partners.  Salad  gardening,  surfski  kayaking,  cycling,  photography,   world  history,  and  the  future  occupy  Smiga’s  free  time.     Cindy  Zipf  –  Talk:  Our  Wild  and  Industry-­‐Free  Ocean    Cindy  Zipf  will  address  the  economic  impact  of  a  Clean  Ocean  Zone  on  New  Jersey  and  New  York.  Zipf  is   Executive  Director  of  Clean  Ocean  Action,  a  successful  coalition  builder,  forming  the  Mid-­‐Atlantic  region’s   largest,  most  effective  voice  for  the  ocean  and  leader  in  forming  national  coalitions  with  groups  throughout   the  country.  She  is  a  proven  campaigner  to  protect  the  ocean  as  evidenced  by  the  precedent  setting  closure   of  eight  major  ocean  dumpsites  in  the  mid-­‐Atlantic.       Cindy  led  efforts  that  resulted  in  the  passage  of  important  landmark  federal  and  state  legislation,  including   the  end  of  the  nation’s  ocean  incineration  and  dumping  industries,  and  a  successful  campaign  to  designate   the  nation’s  first  Ocean  Remediation  Site.  She  is  a  pioneer  in  ocean  pollution  research  initiatives,  such  as   dredge  material  dumping  alternatives,  wastewater  discharge,  offshore  energy  facilities  and  non-­‐point   source  pollution       Ben  Kalina  –  Talk:  Coastal  Development:  Smarter  than  the  Storm?   Ben  Kalina  will  address  the  outcome  of  the  collision  and  overlapping  of  human  and  geologic  time  scales.   Kalina  is  a  film  director  and  producer  whose  work  focuses  on  the  intersection  of  science,  culture  and  the   environment.  He  directs  and  produces  original  documentaries,  narrative  shorts  and  cross-­‐media  projects  as   well  as  client-­‐driven  video  productions.  Kalina  has  worked  for  years  with  Niijii  Films  on  the  documentaries   Two  Square  Miles  and  A  Sea  Change,  two  award-­‐winning  films,  which  have  been  successfully  deployed  for   environmental  justice  and  education.    
  • 2.   2             Among  his  current  projects,  Kaline  is  currently  directing  and  producing  Shored  Up,  which  explores  the  Army   Corps’  controversial  and  ongoing  beach  replenishment  project  along  the  New  Jersey  Shore.  In  addition  to   his  documentary  work,  Ben  has  won  several  international  awards  for  his  short  narrative  film,  Diorama.       Tereza  Nemessanyi  –  Talk:  Reinvention  of  a  Suburban  Mom   Tereza  Nemessanyi  is  going  to  talk  about  how  she,  as  a  suburban  mom,  used  social  media  to  make  her  way   back  into  the  workforce.  In  a  short  period  of  time  she  became  one  of  NYC’s  most  influential  entrepreneurs,   leading  to  her  current  position  as  VP  at  Microsoft.  Nemessanyi  leads  Microsoft’s  presence  with  Startups  in   the  East,  helping  high-­‐growth  startups  go  further  and  faster  by  leveraging  the  best  of  Microsoft.       A  seasoned  media  and  technology  entrepreneur  and  executive,  Nemessanyi’s  breadth  and  depth  of   experience  across  high-­‐growth  startups  and  the  world’s  largest  enterprises  is  truly  unique.  Companies  she   has  worked  with,  at  senior  levels,  include  PWC,  IBM,  The  Walt  Disney  Company,  Unilever,  Symphony  IRI,   Interpublic  Group,  and  the  InterAmerican  Development  Bank  (IADB).  She  was  a  ground-­‐floor  member  of  a   startup  team,  which  IPO’d  (CETV)  and  in  2011  she  was  named  one  of  Forbes  “Ten  Female  Entrepreneurs  to   Watch”.  Nemessanyi  is  a  sought-­‐after  speaker  (TED,  SXSW)  and  blogger  (Reuters,  Huffington  Post).  She   holds  an  MBA  from  The  Wharton  School  and  lives  in  NYC  with  her  husband  and  two  daughters.     Erika  Casriel–Talk:  Remapping  the  Self:  Neuroscience  Gets  Personal   Erika  Casriel,  investigative  journalist  and  psychologist,  will  discuss  the  newest  sea  change  regarding  the   definition  of  self.  In  “Remapping  the  Self”,  she  will  discuss  how  self,  previously  thought  to  be  the  single   “man  in  the  machine”  is  being  reconsidered  as  not  just  a  single  conductor,  but  a  small  orchestra  of   collaborative  psychological  functions.  “Remapping  the  Self,”  is  about  shifting  the  way  we  relate  to  our   thoughts  and  emotions.  In  a  raft  of  books  such  as  Strangers  to  Ourselves,  academic  psychologists  have  been   seeking  to  free  us  from  our  habits  of  self-­‐delusion.  These  psychologists  are  rattling  the  bars  of  the  safe   mental  cages  we  prefer  to  inhabit.  I  have  tried  to  glimpse  my  own  unconscious  processes  at  work,  and  am   excited  and  yes,  embarrassed  to  report  back  to  you  on  what  I  have  seen.  Erika  Casriel,  an  investigative   journalist,  has  worked  on  staff  at  Rolling  Stone,  Vanity  Fair  and  Forbes  MediaCritic.  She  has  written  free-­‐ lance  for  such  publications  as  the  American  Prospect,  Natural  Awakenings  and  Psychology  Today,  for  which   she  wrote  a  cover  story  o  overcoming  shyness.       Elizabeth  Urbanski–Talk:    Self-­‐Image:  Caves  to  Selfies   The  fascinating  and  sometimes  puzzling  phenomenon  of  instant  self-­‐portraits  snapped  on  cell  phones  and   publicly  posted  is  without  precedent.  In  her  exploration  of  Selfies,  she  will  examine  these  self  edited   pictures  through  an  art  historian’s  lens  and  attempt  to  categorize  and  analyze  as  well  as  understand  them   in  relationship  to  works  significant  to  Western  art  history.  Elizabeth  A.  Urbanski  is  an  art  historian  and  fine   art  consultant  who  advises  on  the  formation  and  maintenance  of  modern  and  contemporary  art  collections   for  Fortune  500  corporations,  retail  spaces,  the  hospitality  industry,  private  clients,  private  foundations  and   large-­‐scale  public  architectural  projects  in  the  New  York  Metropolitan  Area.  Urbanski  has  over  20  years   of  experience  working  in  the  contemporary  New  York  art  market.       John  Shammas–Talk:  Software  Development  is  the  New  Home  Economics   John  Shammas,  a  web  developer  currently  working  at  Meddle,  will  talk  about  how  technology  is  a  viable   career  path  for  younger  students.  A  high  school  student  freelancing  for  almost  6  years,  he  works  to  move   the  web  forward,  strengthen  education,  and  build  memorable,  usable  products.  
  • 3.   3           John  fell  in  love  with  Photoshop  at  the  age  of  three.  Through  heavy  learning  and  networking,  he  began   freelance  web  designing  at  11,  redesigning  interfaces  for  businesses  and  individuals  internationally.   With  these  talents,  John  works  to  better  technological  education  and  encourage  students  to  take  an   interest  in  the  software  development  field.  He  currently  serves  as  a  Technology  Liaison  and  Developer  for   his  township’s  Department  of  Education,  and  manages  over  160  schools  and  colleges  with  over  8,000   aspiring  entrepreneurs  through  various  student  organizations.       11:00  am  –  12:00  pm   Our  Garden  State       Richard  Veit–Talk:  Original  People  of  the  Mid-­‐Atlantic   Richard  Veit  will  speak  about  the  often-­‐overlooked  role  of  the  Native  Americans  in  the  formation  of   Monmouth  County  and  its  surrounding  regions.  Veit  is  Professor  of  Anthropology  and  Director  of  the  Center   for  Excellence  in  Teaching  and  Learning  at  Monmouth  University.  He  has  authored  or  co-­‐authored   numerous  articles  and  reviews  and  five  books  including  Digging  New  Jersey’s  Past:  Historical  Archaeology  in   the  Garden  State  (Rutgers  Press  2002),  New  Jersey  Cemeteries  and  Tombstones  History  in  the  Landscape   (Rutgers  Press  2008),  and  New  Jersey:  A  History  of  the  Garden  State  (Rutgers  Press  2012).  He     serves  on  the  New  Jersey  Historical  Commission  and  on  the  boards  of  the  Society  for  Historical  Archaeology,   Council  for  Northeast  Historical  Archaeology,  Crossroads  of  the  American  Revolution,  and  the   Archaeological  Society  of  New  Jersey.       Megan  Paska  –  Talk:  Local  Farms  from  Brooklyn  Rooftops  to  Navesink  Estates   If  co-­‐op  farming  can  over  take  Brooklyn  and  urban  rooftops,  to  sequester  storm  run-­‐off,  optimize  organic   produce,  and  insulate  buildings  -­‐  think  what  local  garden  farming  can  do  for  Monmouth  County  Estates  for   local  produce.  Megan  Paska  will  speak  about  how  7  Arrows  Estate  in  Navesink,  NJ  is  pioneering  estate   farming.     Bill  Rosenblatt–  Talk:  12  Surprises  You  Didn’t  Know  about  NJ  Surfing   Dr.  William  Rosenblatt,  psychologist,  Co-­‐founder  of  the  Jersey  Shore  Surfrider  Foundation  and  member  of   the  Surfers  Medical  Association,  will  share  his  experience  riding  waves  for  more  than  42  years  and  his   instrumental  work  to  assure  that  New  Jersey's  beaches  are  open  and  accessible  to  the  public.     Jonathan  Mercantini–Talk:  Divided  NJ  from  the  Battle  of  Trenton  to  Sandy  Hook   Jonathan  Mercantini  will  talk  about  his  passion  for  history  and  will  engage  with  the  audience  to  better   understand  how  the  past  is  relevant  to  the  challenges  we  face  today  as  we  approach  New  Jersey’s  350-­‐year   anniversary.  Mercantini  has  been  a  member  of  Kean  University’s  Department  of  History  since  2007,  earning   tenure  in  2012  and  promotion  to  Associate  Professor  in  2013.  His  current  research  projects  include  editing   an  online  edition  of  the  Papers  of  John  and  Susan  Kean  and  a  number  of  papers  and  museum  exhibits  on   various  aspects  of  the  Kean  family  relating  to  the  history  of  South  Carolina,  New  Jersey  and  America.  He  is   also  Jersey  Historical  Commission  to  plan  activities  for  the  350th  Anniversary  of  New  Jersey.       Avi  Karnani–Talk:  New  Jersey  as  the  Next  Silicon  Valley   If  you  super  impose  a  map  of  NJ  atop  a  map  of  Silicon  Valley  you'll  see  surprising  similarities.  The  same  is   true  if  you  overlay  info  graphic  maps.  Avi  Karnani,  a  behavioral  psychologist  and  successful  serial   entrepreneur,  shows  us  what  NJ  needs  to  blossom  (re-­‐blossom?)  as  silicon  shore,  or  silicon  garden.    
  • 4.   4   Susan  Pellegrini–Talk:  Asbury  Park  Music  History  in  5  minutes   Susan  Pellegrini  will  speak  about  the  Rock  (R)Evolution  in  Asbury  Park  and  the  impact  of  this  music.  Our   future  is  intimately  connected  with  our  past  and  as  we  create  our  new  reality,  music  will  remain  the  soul  of   the  Jersey  Shore.  Pellegrini  has  made  a  strong  commitment  to  the  revitalization  of  Asbury  Park.  She  is  a   founder  and  Executive  Director  of  the  Asbury  Park  Musical  Heritage  Foundation,  and  a  member  of   numerous  arts  and  cultural  organizations  in  the  city  and  county.  Her  company,  Synergy  Productions,  a  video   production  company  is  located  in  Asbury  Park.  The  company  has  been  in  existence  for  over  fifteen  years       and  provides  all  aspects  of  video  production  for  corporations,  non-­‐profits  and  individuals.  Pellegrini  is  an   award  winning  filmmaker  and  screenwriter.  She  holds  Master’s  degrees  in  Communications  and   Educational  Leadership.         Our  Community  of  Innovation   1:30  pm  –  3:00  pm     Advark  Smile–  Performance   One  of  the  two  rivers'  hottest  new  bands  will  perform  original  works  representing  the  under  20  performing   artists  of  Monmouth  County.         Dr.  Donald  Sebastian–Talk:  Innovation  Clusters  and  How  to  Build  Them  on  the  Shore   Dr.  Donald  Sebastian  will  speak  on  the  topic  of  cluster  based  economic  development  with  focus  on   Monmouth-­‐area  concepts  in  the  Post-­‐BRAC  (Base  Realignment  and  Closure  Program)  Era.  He  will  discuss   models  regional  technology  clustering  with  an  historical  perspective  on  the  roots  of  the  NJ  Economy  in  the   20th  Century.  This  will  serve  as  a  foundation  to  explore  options  for  the  Monmouth  area  and  consider  new   roles  and  responsibilities  for  the  public  and  private  sector  in  growing  the  region.       Dr.  Sebastian  is  the  Sr.  Vice  President  for  Research  &  Development  at  New  Jersey  Institute  of  Technology.   He  is  responsible  for  the  academic  research  enterprise,  developing  partnerships  with  industry  and   managing  governmental  affairs,  intellectual  property  development,  business  incubation,  commercialization,   extension  centers  and  contract  projects  across  the  technology  spectrum.  He  serves  on  the  board  of  a   number  of  non-­‐profits  including  the  Kessler  Foundation,  R&D  Council  of  NJ,  SMART  States,  NJ   Manufacturing  Extension  Program  and  the  Polymer  Processing  Institute.  He  was  inducted  in  the  New  Jersey   High-­‐Tech  Hall  of  Fame  in  2006.       Gabriella  Levine–Talk:  Democratizing  Innovation  with  Open  Hardware   Gabriella  Levine,  part  artist,  part  scientist,  part  designer  will  present  global  adventures  with  the  aid  of  data-­‐ collecting  robots.  Especially  notable  was  the  role  of  the  robots  in  the  collection  of  radiation  data  in   Fukushima,  Japan.  Levine  is  a  self-­‐described  creative  technologist,  interactive  artist  and  open-­‐source   hardware  designer  interested  in  the  relationship  between  technology  and  ecology.  Levine  studied  Biology   and  Piano  at  Cornell  University  and  Oberlin  College,  then  worked  doing  Cancer  Research  at  Albert  Einstein   College  of  Medicine  before  abandoning  the  lab  for  the  outdoors  to  become  a  wildland  firefighter  based  in   Oregon.  She  holds  a  masters  degree  in  design  and  technology  from  ITP,  Tisch  School  of  the  Arts,  NYU.  She   creates  sculptural  and  robotic  works  that  mimic  environmental  phenomena  and  animal  behavior.  Levine  is   particularly  passionate  about  biomimetic  robots,  PCB’s,  electromechanical  actuation,  wireless  sensor   networks,  and  coding.       Alon  Hillel-­‐Tuch–Talk:  Startup  and  Community  Crowd-­‐Funding  Changes  Everything   Alon  Hillel-­‐Tuch,  an  experienced  TEDx  speaker,  will  share  how  crowd-­‐funding  may  provide  the  key  to   growth  and  transformation  of  communities.  His  company,  Rocket  Hub,  has  been  very  successful  in  bringing   crowd-­‐funding  to  the  front  of  the  public  consciousness.  His  talk’s  primary  focus  will  be  to  educate  people  
  • 5.   5   on  the  patterns  of  successful  crowd-­‐funding.     Hillel-­‐Tuch’s  primary  focus  during  talks  is  educating  people  on  the  patterns  of  success  that  surround   crowdfunding.  He  received  his  M.Sc  from  Columbia  University  and  testified  on  the  JOBS  Act  in  front  of  the   Oversight  and  Government  Reform  Committee  in  US  Congress,  which  was  nationally  televised.  RocketHub,   “The  World’s  Crowdfunding  Machine,”  is  an  international,  pioneering,  open  community  that  has  helped   thousands  of  artists,  scientists,  entrepreneurs,  and  social  leaders  raise  millions  of  dollars.  Part  of   RocketHub’s  mission  is  to  educate  the  public  on  the  power  of  crowdfunding.       Kerri  Martin–Talk:  How  to  Build  a  Community,  Told  with  Chalk   Kerri  Martin  will  be  sharing  her  experience  of  creating  a  bike-­‐centric  community  in  and  around  Asbury  Park,   as  told  through  chalk.  Martin  grew  up  in  Freehold,  NJ  and  graduated  from  The  College  of  New  Jersey.    Upon   leaving  the  Garden  State,  she  traveled  and  studied  around  the  world  before  finding  herself  back  in  New   Jersey  in  2003.  In  2006,  Martin  took  her  love  of  bicycles  and  founded  Second  Life  Bikes,  a  youth  earn-­‐a-­‐bike   program  and  community  bike  shop,  in  Asbury  Park.  Her  existence  on  this  planet  is  dominated  by  fixing,   riding,  building,  racing,  talking  about,  thinking  about  and  promoting  bicycles.       Harrison  Owen–Talk:  Cosmic  Collaboration   Harrison  Owen  is  an  author,  consultant  and  photographer,  who  has  worked  on  virtually  every  continent   with  organizations  ranging  from  small  villages  to  large  corporations  and  NGOs.  His  major  concern  has  been   to  assist  organizations  as  they  negotiate  a  transforming  world.  In  some  cases  his  role  has  been  little  more   than  holding  the  hands  of  the  anxious.  In  other  situations  his  function  was  more  overt,  assisting   organizations  in  the  some  times  painful  process  of  self-­‐understanding  and  renewal.  In  all  situations  the   organizational  mythology  and  culture  was  the  focal  point,  and  the  power  of  self-­‐organization  the  ultimate   driver.       Cranston  Dean–Performance   Cranston  Dean,  a  singer  songwriter  from  Atlantic  Highlands,  NJ  will  I  am  excited  perform  his  original  pieces.   According  to  Dean,  “The  path  of  a  thinker  leaves  the  thinker  to  wonder:  Why  do  I  do  this?  What  ends  will  I   gain  from  this?  Why  am  I  so  alone  in  this?”  Yet,  here  we  are,  all  together  in  a  room,  sharing  the  ends  that   we  have  gained  thus  far,  and  hopefully  using  those  combined  efforts  and  energies  to  motivate  and  comfort   us  in  the  future  with  the  answer:  We  must  do  it.  We  gain  everyday.  We  are  not  alone.  Let’s  inspire  each   other.”       Global  Impacts  /  Synthesis   3:30  pm  –  5:00  pm       Ben  Horton–Talk:  The  Rise  of  Our  Sea   Ben  Horton,  climatologist  formerly  of  UPenn  and  currently  of  Rutgers  University,  will  discuss  the  subject  of   how  gradual  sea  level  rise  played  a  large  role  in  the  tremendous  flooding  damage  to  the  New  Jersey  and   New  York  coastlines.  Dr  Horton  is  a  Professor  at  the  Institute  of  Marine  and  Coastal  Science  of  Rutgers   University.  His  research  concerns  sea-­‐level  change.  He  aims  to  understand  and  integrate  the  external  and   internal  mechanisms  that  have  determined  sea-­‐level  changes  in  the  past,  and  which  will  shape  such   changes  in  the  future.  Dr  Ben  Horton  has  published  over  120  articles  in  peer  reviewed  journals,  including   Science,  Proceedings  of  the  National  Academy  of  Sciences,  Nature  Geosience  and  Geology.  Dr  Ben  Horton  is   an  author  of  the  Intergovernmental  Panel  on  Climate  Change  (IPCC)  5th  Assessment  Report  (5AR)  and  a   Fellow  of  the  Geological  Society  of  America.  He  is  a  committee  member  of  the  National  Research  Council,   USA  and  PALSEA  (PALeo-­‐constraints  on  SEA-­‐level  rise).  He  is  project  leader  of  International  Geoscience   Programme  (IGCP)  588.      
  • 6.   6   Kaki  King–Performance   Hailed  by  Rolling  Stone  as  “a  genre  unto  herself,”  Kaki  King  is  a  true  iconoclast,  a  visionary  musician/artist   whose  singular  work  rightly  stands  out  amongst  the  easily  formatted.    Over  her  decade-­‐long  career  thus  far,   the  Jersey-­‐born  guitarist/composer  has  recorded  five  extraordinarily  diverse  and  distinctive  LPs,  performed   with  such  icons  as  Foo  Fighters,  Timbaland,  and  The  Mountain  Goats,  contributed  to  a  variety  of  film  and  TV   soundtracks  (spanning  Golden  Globe-­‐nominated  work  on  Sean  Penn’s  Into  The  Wild  to  scoring  –  and   appearing  in  as  guitar-­‐playing  hand  double  –  the  acclaimed  2007  drama,  August  Rush).       Sean  Dixon–Talk:  Energy  Exports:  Good,  Bad,  Ugly,  and  What  you  Need  to  Know   Sean  Dixon  is  the  Coastal  Policy  Attorney  at  Clean  Ocean  Action.  At  Clean  Ocean  Action,  Dixon’s  work   ranges  broadly  from  dredged  materials  and  coastal  water  quality  to  LNG  imports/exports,  offshore  oil  and   gas  activities,  climate  change,  and  coastal  development.  Sean  is  the  current  Chair  of  the  American  Bar   Association’s  Spring  Conference  on  Environmental  Law  and  is  a  Senior  Fellow  of  the  Environmental   Leadership  Program.  Before  joining  Clean  Ocean  Action,  Sean  worked  on  commercial  fishing  vessels  in  the   Bering  Sea  and  Gulf  of  Alaska  as  a  fisheries  observer,  was  the  first  Graduate  Research  Fellow  at  Pace  Law   School’s  Center  for  Environmental  Legal  Studies,  and  spent  two  years  as  a  Lecturer  at  Yale  University   developing  and  teaching  courses  on  ocean  and  coastal  policy  and  marine  resource  management.     Kat  Lazo  –The  Future  of  Feminism   Modern  day  feminist,  Kat  Lazo  believes  that  “Online  feminism  is  the  future  of  feminism.”  Lazo  will  share  the   success  of  how  modern  day  feminists  are  using  the  Internet’s  massive  reach  to  end  gender  inequality.     Robert  Lucky–Talk:  Innovation  and  New  Jersey  -­‐-­‐  Storied  Past  and  Uncertain  Future     Robert  Lucky,  renowned  speaker,  electrical  engineer,  inventor,  and  former  head  of  research  at  Bell  Labs   and  Telcordia  Technologies,  will  talk  about  technology,  society,  and  engineering  culture  as  well  as  his   participation  as  an  active  member  of  the  board  of  the  Fort  Monmouth  Economic  Revitalization  Authority.           Monmouth  County  has  been  well  known  for  its  contributions  to  communications  through  the  past   decades.    With  the  loss  of  Bell  Labs  and  the  closing  of  Fort  Monmouth,  about  20,000  technical  jobs  have   been  lost  in  the  county.    How  did  this  happen,  and  what  are  the  prospects  for  future  innovation  and   entrepreneurship?     New  Jersey  Dance  Center  in  Tinton  Falls:  Performances   “Jersey  Strong,  Jersey  Proud”  Our  youngest  TEDxNavesink  performers  write:     “Neal  Acito  of  Scotch  Plains  has  written  a  brilliant  song,  “Jersey  Strong,  Jersey  Proud,”  and  we  are  thrilled  to   perform  it  for  our  TEDxNavesink  audience.”    “Neal  Acito  of  Scotch  Plains  has  written  a  brilliant  song,  “Jersey  Strong,  Jersey  Proud,”  and  we  are  thrilled   to  perform  it  for  our  TEDxNavesink  audience.”
