Introduction:
 In our country, even though it has super power and an economic development ,But still
there are many crimes against women .Women security is a major issue of concern in
today’s world. Women are subjected to unethical physical harassment .Women safety
methods such as various mobile apps have been tried and implemented, But the need of a
device that can be carried out everywhere easily. Here we present SPDW (Self Protecting
Device For Women) an idea to design one such device which can be attached to the Arduino
controller. It will be a button which will be attached to tesla circuit, While pressing this
button it produces the voltage to the output ( Example : hand gloves ) to protect from abuse
actions and thefting actions etc...one which makes some sort of unethical movement. the tools
that we using controller, gsm module and GPS module for the hardware section and the
software section we use Arduino uno controller. And a sensitive heart beat sensor is used in
this device to detect the heart beat level. While the women in the danger the gsm module
send the message to his respected guardian or person and the GPS module send the exact
location. And the main function of the device is heart beat detection, when the standard
heart beat level exists the sensor senses and gsm module sends the message to respected

 EXISTING SYSTEM:
 It is a garment embedded an electronic device which gives out nearly 600kv electric
shock to the assailants helping the victim to escape.
 But when a women is in trouble, there can be times that women is not capable of
pressing button.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM:
 The proposed system based on wireless communication.
 The device enabled with the GPS system will be able to send the location to
the contact.
 The system is turned on when the button is pressed instances of attack manually by
the women.
PROJECT STATUS:
Components were assembled and connection were
made, need to update the program in Arduino
board and activate the components.
 APPLICATIONS:
 It acts like a guard for women.
 Women will feel protective.
 ADVANTAGES:
 Protects the women from the assault.
 Can be used a legal evidence of crime with exact location information from prosecution.
 Sophisticated security.
 DISADVANTAGES:
 When the power will turns off, the total system will turns off, so battery is always required.
 Cannot send the location when the internet connectivity is off.
 FUTURE ENHANCEMENT:
 The future enhancement of this device in the form gloves, the result will be
more fruitful.
 COST ESTIMATION:
 Cost estimation of the Project is Rs 4000.
