Details Our clients MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund) division has been using Main Frame
based systems for MPF Policy Admin activities and Agent Commission
Management. The system has both online and batch interfaces. Policy and Agent
data are primarily managed through CICS online interface and batch programs also
mimic these functionalities for bulk insertion of data which are in COBOL. Batch is
also does some addition activities.
The objective of MPF and AGENT Management System Migration project was to
change the online interface to .NET based web interfaces and to change the
Mainframe database into Oracle relational database. The batch programs will be
converted from Cobol to MF Cobol and will interact with the Oracle database instead
of current Mainframe database.

Details Our clients Wealth Management division has been using IMS based systems for
Participants’ information management and periodic payouts for fixed products. The
system has both online and batch interfaces. Participants’ data are primarily
managed through online interface although batch programs also mimic these
functionalities for bulk insertion of data. Payouts are primarily managed through
batch interface.
The objective of Pension Redesign project was to change the online interface to
.NET based web interfaces and to change the IMS database into DB2 relational
database. In the initial phase batch programs will interact with the DB2 database
instead of current IMS database. Later SPRNT Revamp project is started for some
major enhancement of the existing Pension System.

Project 6. Recon Reports Development

Details Recon Reports deals with the Design and Development of reports of a J2EE based
system to manage reconciliation of suspense accounts for premium and
disbursements. It provides the functionality to retrieve daily suspense items
automatically from the external systems (ADS, BACIS, RPS, FARS, GL and Tracer)
belonging to various Group lines of business on a nightly basis. During the nightly
batch process it matches items belonging to various systems following certain rules.
The matched items will be cleared and remaining items will go through manual
matching process during which the suspense team will try to match and clear them.
There can still be some pending suspense items which will go through the same
nightly process again. There will be a provision to age the suspense items and to
manually upload miscellaneous items into Recon as suspense items.
