One week + Helsinki + Finnish design students(Taik,Helsinki) + Japanese design students(Chiba Uni.) + A variety of exchange students from around the world (eg Latvia, Germany, Scotland, Taiwan) + Sony R&D team = A whole set of toys for children between the ages of 3-5 that challenge the norms of play by augmenting imagination with the use of technolgy and internet connectivity as well as linking the physical product with service provision. Many thanks to the Sony guys for the week.

The narrator expresses frustration and dislike for Christmas traditions like carolers singing outside and spending time with people he can't stand. After the carolers irritate him with their singing, he snaps and attacks them with a baseball bat. As a result, the police arrest him on Christmas Eve and he ends up in jail, where another inmate assaults him. The narrator concludes by stating several times that he won't be home for Christmas.

Lucas was born in Whangarei, New Zealand in 2001. He lives with his parents and two brothers, Riley and Jayden. His grandparents, Colin and Jean, live in town and are very supportive of Lucas and his family. On Christmas Day, Lucas's favorite family tradition is spending time with his extended family at his grandmother's house, opening presents and going to the beach to swim.

Japanese celebrate Christmas similarly to Americans by decorating homes with lights and singing songs with family. A popular Christmas food is KFC chicken. Gift giving is also important in Japan, though Christmas there is more of a romantic holiday for teenagers than a religious one, since less than 1% of Japan's population is Christian. Japanese Christmas decorations and Santa Claus figures are adapted with a more local cultural style.

However, Eunice later found Bimbo in a sexual act with another woman. In a fit of rage, Eunice attacked them with a pestle, which led to Bimbo beating her into a coma. After recovering, Eunice caught Bimbo abusing her again, so she doused him with acid, ending their three-month marriage.
The living photograph
The poem describes the author's relationship with her adopted grandmother. As a mixed-race child adopted by white parents, the author was very close with her grandmother who is depicted in an old photograph still holding the author's hand. Chewy, the elder male sim, was glitched and stuck in the sim bin with the family's money. The player moved the family to a new empty lot with only $13,000. They were able to get Chewy back by placing him on an empty lot, and he brought his money with him, solving the family's financial issues. However, Chewy's appearance was altered in the process, changing his hair and eye color. The family is reunited but in a new bare-bones home as they rebuild.

Billy had planned a Christmas Eve party for his family but several things went wrong that threatened to ruin it. His father's cold developed into pneumonia so he couldn't attend. His mother would be working late. And his sister Azula unexpectedly gave birth to her baby that day, so she and her husband Dominic couldn't come either. Feeling disappointed, Billy decided to cancel the party and go to his girlfriend Snow's family's house for Christmas instead. However, Snow and Billy's sister Elle come up with a plan to try to salvage the party.

Her mobile phone is key to both her work and social life. Initial concepts for a new phone design focused on concealing and revealing features with subtle glowing hints. CAD modeling and prototypes were used to explore form and establish size. The final design opens with mysterious glowing lines that reveal its playful character. The phone is intended to provide additional brand value and revenue through commercialization.

Design Beyond Furniture
Presentation of the project "Design Beyond Furniture" at Köln International School of Design(KISD) in Cologne.
The project involved designing and producing a stall to present the school at the International Furniture Fair in Milan.
The concept for the stall played with the fact that design at KISD is much more than just furniture with every student receiving an interdisciplinary education with 12 ares of expertise to choose from ranging from product and graphic design to service and design theory.
