guarding public

Educating for
tomorrow through
problem solving
today.
Responsible,
cost effective,
environmentally
sound solutions.
Our Vision
To provide every community
with a responsible way to
dispose of used mattresses
that safeguards public health
& protects the environment.
Who we are
SOLinc ( Spare Our Landfills ) is a non-profit
organization that is dedicated to educating and
satisfying the needs of landfills & retailers.
Our approach is simple: we address items that
are harmful to the environment & public health;
find more effective, efficient ways to dispose of
or recycle them. While mattresses have been
the main focus during the 5 years of concep-
tion, other opportunities are helping the busi-
ness of “Sparing Our Landfills ” fulfill its mis-
sion. From ideation planning, strategic
development, and tactical execution, SOLinc is
dedicated to developing the necessary
resources to achieve great results for
retailers, manufacturers, and the communities
we serve.
The SOLinc Story
While SOLinc is a new company, its
vision and purpose have been years
in the making. SOLinc has explored
and planned a variety of different
options, all focused on a greener
and healthier way to dispose of
used mattresses.
While our passion is removing
mattresses from our streets and
landfills, there are many opportuni-
ties for SOLinc to grow into with oth-
er products.
SOLinc has worked with, and has a
strong relationship with International
Sleep Products Association
( ISPA ) . We are developing rela-
tionships with other non-profits and
State & Federal agencies to develop
a nationwide network that eventually
solve this problem by influencing
public policy.
SOLinc has been featured in bed-
ding industry publications "Sleep
Savvy ” and "Bedtimes ”. SOLinc
has also been featured speakers at
mattress and industry conferences.
What We Do & How We Do It
Retailers in general have a disposal problem
with the product they deliver to consumers.
From paper and plastic bags, to cardboard and
even the old products they are replacing, our
business model is a profitable, sustainable plan.
Sales and Marketing
PR & Education
Create an effective strategic plan
Operations
Address all aspects of the process
“ Cradle to grave ” approach
Maximizing available resources
By-Product Handling
Product disposal/resolution plan
Maximize by-product income
We approach each scenario differently based
on its needs and structure. From ideation
planning and strategic development to tactical
execution and implementation, resources exist
to accomplish the task. We believe in a very
“ c ollaborative ” approach which maximizes
resources to achieve great results.
