This report summarizes the socio-economic impact of the conflict in Ukraine's Donbass region. It was prepared by FAO Ukraine to assess the needs of communities affected by the conflict. The crisis has caused enormous losses to the agricultural sector in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Prices for basic foods have increased dramatically due to disrupted trade and reduced local production. Limited availability of inputs, fuel and credit are major constraints, limiting households' ability to engage in agriculture and threatening food security. The report provides data on the demographics, economy, food security, agriculture, assistance received, and farmers' organizations in the conflict-affected areas.
