Editor's Notes

  1. Think of regular media as a one-way street where you can read a newspaper or listen to a report on television, but you have very limited ability to give your thoughts on the matter. Social media, on the other hand, is a two-way street that gives you the ability to communicate too.
  2. Current IT industries are staying connected with customers by providing a discussion without dialing an 800 number, or holding to speak with a representative for ever. Customers can logg on to their moblie apps, or social media accounts and get answers to solve their problem. They provide lastest tricks, and helpful information at a click of a button. The giving and receiving –is simply giving customers a 30 trial for free service of some sort or completing a 3 minute survey. (this will help the It company on providing customers/clients with information they want). (R.Schultz, p76-86)
  3. This will allow potential clients see who you are, and see the sales you currently have at your company. Without the pressure of a salesperson. Social Media is a great way to provide online deals– within current hours of the day to get a client to get service from you.
  4. Keeps clients inform of changes, updates, sales, hours etc. Great way to congratulate new business for getting service from you and thanking them online.
  5. Stay with the current, Technology business needs technology –for marketing. Over 90% of successful business have social media, it’s a source for customers/ potiental clients to refer too. (when they are interested on doing business with you).
