have come to know Lavelle over the last three years as a teacher and yearbook advisor. She is very hard
working and truly devotes her time to her students and her obligations.
Lavelle served as my sons’ art teacher at their school. Her lesson plans were always very thorough and
organized. She clearly communicated to the students about the curriculum and the information they
needed to know. The students walked away from her class with a true appreciation for the great artists
and works of art of our past.
Our yearbook was a true and accurate representation of our students and our campus as a result of
Lavelle working closely with the PTO, staff and administration. In addition, she mentored our student
yearbook club and taught them about page layouts, page designs and photographic composition. She
made certain that the pages were creatively designed and well executed. Her organizational skills
guaranteed that all deadlines were met and that our yearbook was delivered on time to our students
and faculty. Lavelle was always willing to lend a helping hand with yearbook tasks that were not part of
her responsibilities as the advisor. She is a true team player and has always dedicated herself to ensure
the success of her fellow co-workers.
