The author experienced a personal health crisis over 10 years ago with constant fatigue and no clear medical diagnosis. They embarked on a healing journey through diet changes, counseling, and lifestyle changes like moving to a less busy suburb. While various diets helped, the author still felt close to a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome diagnosis. Through counseling and better self-care, the author learned their burnout was caused by personality factors influencing how they viewed and interacted with the world, taking on too much stress. Interviewing others with similar illnesses, the author noticed common behaviors and personality traits. This book aims to explain how the author helped themselves and clients overcome issues by addressing underlying personality factors.
