purchased at their convenience;
- Products including Single Excess cover, multi Excess cover for vehicles in the same
household and Breakdown.
• Key Repatriation – SMILE provides a key repatriation service that markets your
contact details.
• VIP Rewards – SMILE supports motorist and provides a Rewards scheme full of
discounts and vouchers to over 800 high street stores.
• Excess Guarantee – Waive your customers Excess following a fault claim.

• SMILE provides you with an opportunity to offer a range of insurance

• All administration is completed by Virtual Insurance Products Limited.

18. Excess Guarantee
• Innovative offering to your customers designed to drive work back in to
your repair centres.
• This is an Excess Guarantee you are selling not insurance and therefore
this falls outside the scope of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
• Your Guarantee can only be redeemed when returning to your repair
network.
• To protect your obligations we provide an Insurance policy in your name
to protect you against each Excess Guarantee that is claimed.
• Upon completion of repair you claim against the insurance policy and
payment is made by BACS direct to your bank account.
• Your Guarantee can be sold through sales, service and body shop, as
every customer will benefit from this product.

• Motor Excess levels have risen to an average of £500
• Consumers looking to purchase cheaper car insurance often do not
appreciate the various excess costs they will incur in the event of a claim.
