Nicole's goal was to use the food pyramid to guide her daily food intake so she was eating a variety of foods from all areas and the right serving amounts. She would keep a daily list of everything she ate, including details like amount and food group. At the end of each day, she would use an online tracker to assess her intake against the food pyramid recommendations. Over a month-long period, she would make improvements to incorporate more foods from areas of the pyramid she was leaving out. While she made some progress, her busy schedule sometimes prevented her from eating well, and data entry issues with the tracker made the analysis incorrect at times. She feels she can continue improving her diet.
