WealthRays was founded in 2009 in Bangalore by Mr. Kiran Kumar Kavikondala and Mrs. Rashmi Roddam Kiran to provide affordable broking services. It operates with a motto of low-cost trading and online services. WealthRays offers trading in stocks and commodities as well as financial advisory services and products like mutual funds and insurance. The company aims to increase awareness of investment opportunities and help more investors participate in the stock market through educational sessions and mobile apps. WealthRays plans to expand its presence across India through franchises and adding more derivative products.

WealthRays was started with a

derivatives is usually based on
volumes and traders end up
paying high brokerage when
charged for every trade. “We have
exclusive schemes for traders and
investors. We have a monthly
scheme where they pay a
monthly charge of Rs.1899/- for
infinite trades in both cash and
F&O segment and Rs. 1002/- for
cash segment. As this would not
suit an investor who would hold
positions for a longer time period
and do not look for immediate
profits, we have schemes for
them which will be charged on
per trade basis. Stock calls are
given by our research team for
intraday and positions in stocks
and F&O” says Kiran Kumar.
WealthRays was incorporated
as a private limited company in
Sep 2010 at Bangalore.
WealthRays Securities Private
Limited was established as a
corporate entity the same year as
a member of Madras Stock
Exchange. The company provides
online / mobile trading and demat
services. In 2011, the group
created WealthRays Commodities
Trading Private Limited, as a
member of National Spot
Exchange to provide
commodities trading &
opportunity to hold gold / silver /
platinum in demat form. Besides
trading and commodity trading,
they offer advisory and financial
planning services along personal
finance products like Mutual
Funds, Fixed Deposits, Recurring
Deposits, Life Insurance etc.
Trainings & workshops about
stock markets to investors/traders
through remote & class room
sessions are also part of their

He says that there are
many who have a
myth that trading in
markets will give
overnight profits. This
belief would
de-motivate them to
run away from stock

by the government
which will increase
equity investments in
India. One of this kind

80CCG of IT act),
which says that
investing in equities
will give IT benefit”

Future Plans
and Advice for
investors
WealthRays plans to
have pan-India
presence in the next
couple of years
through franchisee
model and add more
product offerings in
the derivative
segment. “Invest
systematically; do not
invest lump sum in
one single product
instead invest on a
monthly basis. Spread
your investments
across products when
you have a lump sum
amount, Pen down
financial goals early in
life and plan for the
present and the future,
plan expenses too”
