installation problem

2. Go to http://slick.ninjacave.com/
Click here

3. Suggestion créate a library folder in place
you’ll never forget

4. Unzip the slick.rar archive here

5. Now go to Netbeans >>Tools>>Libraries

6. This is my suggestion créate a library instead of
calling a .jar file one by one evetime you make a
project.

7. Name it Slick2D so you don’t get confused! Or
just Slick.

8. You’ll have something
like this right.
Read this.
Next step is to add the jars so click on the
followwing button. Look fot it, it’s at the right
side.

9. Toogle and look for your librarie where you
have the Slick folder.

10. Click on lib. Then on: jinput.jar, lwjgl.jar,
lwjgl_útil.jar, slick.jar. OK that’s it. If you want the
rest it’s your choice.

11. Your library has to look like this! Press ok.

12. Now créate a
TestSlick2D project.
Right click the project in Projects View.
Select Properties.

13. On the Cartegories section click on Libraries.
Then click on Add Library. Click on Slick2D. If you
don’t find it just import it in your Dialog Frame.
With this click OK button.
PS: you can manually add the jar libraries like you
see below.

14. Go to Run section. And write the following. Later
i’ll tell when and where to créate the native folder.

15. Not so fast, last part to do. Slick is based on
LWJGL libraries witch some are .jar and others
are .dll and are the latter are needed to
compile on a VM. Let’s go to slick for folder
and copy the the native-window.jar to our
netbeans project.

16. This jar copy it.

17. We don´t need the .jar file we need the files
inside the jar. Now please créate a new folder in the project called native
And inside of it extract the .dll files

18. Wonderful, you’ve done it.

19. Next is up to you to paste a code and run it!
