Las Mofetas Claudia, Esther, Marco Y Martín are a group of skunks that live in burrows built by the females for hibernating in winter. They are omnivores that eat small mammals, insects, and fruit. Skunks are about 40 centimeters long plus a 20 centimeter tail, with short legs, long hair that is gray on the back and white on the belly. They defend themselves by shooting a stinky liquid from anal glands and can transmit rabies when biting.

2. Habitat They live in burrows that are built by the females, and spend the winter sleeping, but it does not become a full hinvernation seventeen times they share burrows built by other species such as foxes and raccoons.

4. Description They are about forty centrimetres in length plus twenty centimetres in the tail. They have got short lefs, long hair, grey hair on the back and white color on the belly.

5. Curiosities They have anal glands that shoot a stinky liquid that is used to defend them selves agains their enemies and to mark they territory. They transmit the rabies when they bite.
