USDA, EU, German GTZ, Humboldt-University-Berlin, French INRA and French ORSTOM, Ministry of
Agriculture, Academy of Science and Technology, et al.; and shared as researcher in other projects.
- 1990 Awarded the German "Karl Gustaf Medal" from the German Academy of Science for
excellency in entomological research

- Supervised 45 M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and evaluated and discussed more than 100 theses in the
field of entomology and biological control at Egyptian universities

- Published more than 125 research papers in national and international scientific journals
- Editor of three Egyptian scientific journals in Economic Entomology and Biological Control
