53. Context:-
Most of the students coming to the college are from rural areas, and they
are rather inactive and passive in getting computer knowledge and in
developing proper aptitude for it. It is rather a challenge to create computer
literate generation, exactly with this intention; we have formed Shivraj
Association of Computer Students (SACS)
The Practice:
The SACS unit of the college organizes several competitions for the
students of B.C.S., B.C.A., B.Sc. (Computer), B.B.A., and P.G. students of
M.C.A. and M.Sc. (Computer). The college thinks that these activities are
beneficial to develop student’s personality and knowledge. Such events help the
students in updating their computer knowledge and in developing the technical
abilities needed for the field of computer.

54. The Competitions held under this activity are:
•Paper- presentation -
Paper presentation is based on recent development in IT and computer
science in general.
•Computer Programming :-
The programs are based on C- language. The participants have to correct
the program and complete it within the time given.
•Quiz Contest :-
All the questions asked in such contest are based on IT and computer
science.
•Advertisement :-
The topics for the advertisement activity are given to the participants on the
spot.

55. Evidence of Success:-
The college has collected and recorded the data regarding the
success and achievements of the students in getting admissions to
P.G. courses, employments, increased participation in SACS and
obtaining fine results in B.Sc. and B.C.S. courses.
The students those have participated in the SACS like
competitions have seen successful in getting jobs and services in
various multinational companies and institutions like: Infosys, Wipro,
Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Tata Consultancy Services etc.
